“Spekki Webu was born into contrast, half Afro-American, half German, raised in the Netherlands and shaped by a history of black music.”

Spekki Webu was born into contrast, half Afro-American, half German, raised in the Netherlands and shaped by a history of black music. Long before he became the artist he is today, he was already listening deeply. Exploring scenes. Observing people. Absorbing stories. What started as curiosity turned into devotion, not to genres, but to a psychedelic stream of sound that refuses to be boxed. Moving through the formative underground of hardcore and freeparty culture, Spekki embraced experimentation from an early age. Making music and playing records were never career moves, but natural extensions of his lifelong observation practice. He didn’t chase styles; he time-traveled through them. Carrying forward what mattered, leaving behind what didn’t. Music became a lifestyle. Freedom became method. Both on and off stage, Spekki is known for his explosive energy and direct presence, yet beneath it lives a profound sensitivity for community and spirituality. Through his Mirror Zone label, he welcomes talented outliers into a space where differences can exist and sound has many colors. As he often states, “Mirror Zone is a mirror of life,” reflecting the introspective vision behind his label and audiovisual projects such as Signal Transmutations. Today, Spekki operates at the forefront of the global electronic music scene while remaining grounded in the same values that shaped him decades ago: autonomy and creative freedom. “Don’t let yourself be fooled into thinking you belong in one place. Stay open-minded.” Like a reptile shedding its skin, his transformative craft is an open invitation to step into ever-evolving states of sound.Their RA profile lists Blue Hour, MIRROR ZONE, Amniote, positivesource and 4 more.Recently at Green Room NYC, Nowadays, Paragon · often with Ellen Allien, Lilian Stark, Carmen Electro, none of them here that night

“Her collective, Endzeit, focuses on long-form techno in unique spaces, and has quickly become one of California’s most forward-thinking techno gatherings.”

Her collective, Endzeit, focuses on long-form techno in unique spaces, and has quickly become one of California’s most forward-thinking techno gatherings. She’s also a resident DJ of Müll, queer underground staple in the Bay Area. Both events are known for meticulous curation and extended hours, running regularly until dawn, a rarity in California’s restrictive nightlife landscape. Across all projects, she champions inclusive dancefloors and works to bring world-class techno to San Francisco, helping reshape the city's often-sunny musical landscape into a destination for serious nightlife. In 2025 she expanded her reach beyond the Bay Area, with her first European festival appearance at WHOLE Festival, performances in Italy, and the Detroit debut of Endzeit, building on years shaped in San Francisco’s underground. Sonically, she moves fluidly across techno’s spectrum, drawing on industrial, acid, and dub, building hypnosis through layered textures and relentless groove, rooted in the traditions of Detroit and Berlin. She has recently released music on Berlin’s W133 Records, Martyn’s 3024, LA’s Delusional Records, and Pittsburgh’s Perimeter Junk, and has shared the decks with artists such as Freddy K, Helena Hauff, Rrose, Silent Servant, and Aurora Halal.Their RA profile lists 3024, As You Like It Recordings, Perimeter Junk, Delusional Records and 1 more.Last at Signal in Apr · often with Convextion, Mike Parker, RMNA, none of them here that night
“Torsion is a California-based techno project exploring sonic structures at the point of collapse.”

the whole biography
Torsion is a California-based techno project exploring sonic structures at the point of collapse. Formerly known as Sentient, the duo adopted their current name to reflect an evolving approach defined by circularity, friction, and nonlinear processes. Their compositions move fluidly between suspension and propulsion, each sound deliberately placed to amplify tension and reshape spatial perception. Rooted in the Bay Area’s experimental scene, Torsion engages multiple mediums—releasing music, curating events, and crafting immersive environments that challenge conventional notions of genre, disrupt linear perceptions of time, and reimagine the boundaries of physical space.Their RA profile lists Semantica Records, Illegal Alien Records and OVUNQVE.Last at Signal in Apr · often with Convextion, Mike Parker, RMNA, none of them here that night
