Concrete Husband is a NYC-based producer, DJ, composer, and flutist whose work bridges hypnotic techno, contemporary composition, and surrealist sound design. His forward-thinking dance records Piel and Pelvic Resonance, released on White Owl Records, received critical acclaim, with Document Journal describing his music as “redefining avant-garde composition.” Educated at New England Conservatory, he draws on a deep knowledge of musical history to create emotionally charged sonic narratives that blur the line between the sensual and the uncanny. His DJ sets move through hypnotic grooves and psychological tension. A fixture of the Brooklyn techno scene, he has been seen countless times at BASEMENT, Paragon, and Knockdown Center, as well as at WIRE Festival and Merge. He is a resident of the Mexico City collective Pervert. As a composer and flutist, he merges virtuosic performance with experimental approaches to sound. Integrating live flute into his work, he has developed a singular performance language that led Eartheater to invite him to open her 2024 international tour, alongside a headline debut at Silent Green. His compositions have been presented at Amant, MoMA PS1, Museum of Modern Art, MUNCH, and Palazzo Reale. He has also scored Dion Lee’s Shanghai Fashion Week presentation and contributed flute compositions to the A24 film Beau Is Afraid. Focused on industrial sounds, Briela Veneno manages to involve a lot of different styles in her DJ sets. These skills have open space for her performance in many clubs, cities in Colombia and big warehouse events. 2023 became her best career year, leading her to play outside of Colombia, and visiting Berlin, Sicily, Santiago de Chile and Quito. Known for his versatile, layered closing sets that emphasise atmospheric storytelling through tension and release, he has built a reputation as a dynamic figure both in the DJ booth and the studio. In recent years, Amotik has expanded his artistic scope. He launched AMTK+, a sub-label providing a platform for like-minded artists with a shared musical vision. He also collaborated with Answer Code Request on a bass-heavy record for Delsin, giving both artists space to explore their UK and breaks roots. Most recently, he showcased a lighter side with select house sets at Panorama Bar in Berlin, Merge in New York, and Radion in Amsterdam. His touring schedule has taken him to iconic venues such as Berghain, Fold, De School, and Khidi, while he maintains residencies at the revered Goethebunker in Essen and Pax-Romana in Amsterdam. Alongside notable releases on labels like 47, BPitch, and Figure, Amotik's critically acclaimed albums Vistār and Patanjali have further cemented his reputation as a visionary producer, earning praise from Mixmag and Groove Magazine. 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of his self-titled imprint - not just a milestone, but a testament to perseverance, proving that consistency, dedication, and staying true to one’s sound can shape a lasting career in an ever-evolving scene.
