    the whole biography
During their university years, DAY/DEM spearheaded DIY music events in Gainesville, FL, revitalizing the electronic music scene in the north Florida town. By throwing renegade events in storage units, record stores, and detached garages, the artist’s impact reverberated heavily throughout the community. Gatherings like these are where their love for the craft of music curation first sprouted as they turned these local spaces into sanctuaries for a tribe of music lovers. The electro savant now thrives in the unknown, wielding the power of selection and taste to transform dance floors at venues like Nowadays, Paragon, and Mansions in New York City, continuously molding their creative identity rooted in acid, dub techno, minimal and house. Their emotive presence aligns powerfully with artists they’ve opened for such as Dutch techno experimentalist Spekki Webu of Mirror Zone and Belgian pathfinder Rey Colino behind Kalahari Oyster Cult. Their musical palette is further revealed through productions via Compost Discs, Starry Records, and various self-releases. DAY/DEM is dynamic, intuitive, and creatively restless, quickly becoming a name that resonates far beyond the decks. Words by Dazion Prosser

    the whole biography
A born and bred in New Yorker, DJ Thank You first took to the decks at age 16, and has cemented herself as an integral force in the city's underground. Her signature stadium style sound has rightfully earned her the title “hottest DJ in NYC” (Interview Magazine). Known for clean technical execution and a mischievous sense of drama, DJ Thank You takes you for a wild ride... tight turns, curveball blends, sudden drops, and a euphoric hands-in-the-air spirit. She synthesized this approach in her self-produced debut record, “Roller Coaster,” an homage to the Dirty Dutch sound that first inspired her love for electronic music. Following the album’s release, she brought it on a nationwide tour with rising EDM superstars, Frost Children. In her 9 years as a DJ, she has been tapped by major cultural and brand-name institutions including Celine (hand selected by Hedi Slimane himself), Nike, Adidas, Ugg, Red Bull, NASDAQ, Gagosian Gallery, Rockefeller Center, Times Square Arts (TSQ), and was featured twice in the official score of the Mowalola's "Detty Pop" collection.
