Sam discovered her love for electronic music at a young age while surfing YouTube, which has sent her into a lifelong digging rabbit hole. Her sound reflects a deeply informed ear and reverence for dancing, pulling from her coming of age experience on the floors at raves and clubs. Her work as a DJ and producer leans into mutant sonic collisions, channeling the spirit of midwestern electronics through acid-infused, tracky body music.Trance on 3, Techno on 2, Hardcore on 2 and Ambient on 1. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on RAVE4EVAR (1), Yearning (1) and low income $quad (1); their RA profile also lists Evar Records and Gyration Station. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Bossa Nova Civic Club, telos.haus, H0L0 · often with Mike Servito, Miss Parker, MORENXXX, none of them here that night

Born in San Antonio, Texas, Lucía Beyond began in the indie and punk scenes of SA and Boston. She is a lifelong scholar of many disciplines and a deep appreciator of the variety of human existence. This omnivorous and adventurous approach to artistic mediums, conversation, spirituality, and bodily sensation is the spring-fed well from which she brings forth words, music, sound collage, movement, visual, and experiential art. In the club, Lucía is a proficient vinyl DJ, and utilizes a hybrid setup to draw throughlines between old school rave sounds, classic and current vocal club, dub-tinged techno, momentous progressive, mezmerizing jungle + braindance, and plenty of wild cards. A deeply emotive selector, her goal is to play for the loneliest dancer. For the people who need it the most. On stage, Lucía's deepest channel is through her words and voice. Her songwriting has a deep reverence for pop melodies, jazz orchestration, and RnB sensuality. With a live set that scales for the size of the room, she often performs with upright bass, guitar, keyboards, and a variety of accompanying musicians. She currently lives and works with her sisters in Austin, Texas, USA Notable Appearances and Radio: Whole Festival Refraction Festival x SXSW RA x SXSW Lot Radio (Club Moment) Buttons Berlin Mix Series Rumors Chicago Mix Series SutroFM SF HydeFM SFTheir RA profile lists Mystic Twin.Recently at Earthly Delights, Mansions · often with Tube, Johnny Zoloft, Thee Aries, none of them here that night
