the whole biography
As a producer, his style merges hypnotic electronic percussion with syncopated rhythms, soulful melodies, and sampling techinques inspired by hip-hop. As a DJ, his selection ebbs & flows depending on the environment, ranging from heart-racing soundtracks of footwork, jungle/dnb, & jersey club at night, to soul-soothing blends of hip-hop, rnb, jazz, soul, & city pop by day. Off the decks, he is a rapper and local event organizer also known as LEEWAY. You may know him for his DIY event series Steeped in Sound, which focuses on creating community building spaces through music and tea.Recently at Mood Ring, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Elsewhere · often with satandoll, DJ Fat Frog, rmzi, none of them here that night
