“SPF 50’s music weaves a kaleidoscopic tapestry of lush atmospherics, precise, percussive momentum and skittish euphoria.”

SPF 50’s music weaves a kaleidoscopic tapestry of lush atmospherics, precise, percussive momentum and skittish euphoria. With a keen sense for narration, his music draws on deeper strains of techno, at times veering into syncopated bass pressure, to sculpt a hypnotic sonic world to immerse oneself in. His live set delves into deep psychedelia, creating raw moments on the dancefloor while never losing sight of the playful and blissed out. Originally from Sweden but living in Brooklyn, he is a resident of underground party Bob & Shirley. His EP ‘Ett Inre Rum’ comes out on Bliss Point in September 2026 and takes further aim on the eyes-closed inward journey, fueled by hypnotic repetition and an ear for spatial, textured sound design.Techno on 5, Acid on 4, House on 4 and Deep House on 3. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on Bliss Point (1), Dzungla (1) and Fixed Rhythms (1); their RA profile also lists Acacia Baila. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at public records, Mansions, Good Room · often with Albert_, Fernelly, G-Style, none of them here that night

KIA blurs the lines of genre-specific sounds to deliver listeners a cauldron of influences with a heavy emphasis on queer and BIPOC artists. Inspired by everything from the thunderous clamor of ballroom to the tumultuous drums that inhabit the spaces of underrepresented communities, KIA’s aim is to put visibility and representation in motion one function at a time.Recently at Nowadays, BASEMENT, Paragon · often with Yumi, Avalon Emerson, Sepehr, none of them here that night

“Ayesha is a key player in Brooklyn's dance music scene, and has become one of NYC's most prominent names when it comes to faster, more-bass heavy sounds in New York.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Ayesha is a key player in Brooklyn's dance music scene, and has become one of NYC's most prominent names when it comes to faster, more-bass heavy sounds in New York. Her approach to DJing and production blends elements of America's techno underground with leftfield UK sounds and diasporic influences from her Indian heritage, moving across tempos and rhythms with ease. Her music, hypnotic, pulsating and powerful, is as at home at a deep forest festival as it is a sweaty basement or dark nightclub, made with meticulous sound design, spongy textures and alien melodies. She writes tracks with deliberate consideration for how bodies move—and how music moves bodies—which makes her work unusually tactile and physical. "Beautiful things emerge from our care and consistent attention," she says about her work, which she also calls "body over mind." Everyone else calls it brilliant. She's put out music on Scuffed Recordings and Kindergarten Records, the latter of whom released her debut album, Rhythm is Memory, in 2022. DJ Mag called it "a revelation," Resident Advisor a "fierce mission statement" and Mixmag placed her at number two in its list of the 25 Producers Who Defined 2023. Later this year, she'll make her live set debut at MUTEK Festival in Montreal, hinting at an exciting new chapter for a dynamic force in American dance music.Their RA profile lists Fever AM, Scuffed Recordings, Femme Culture, Control Freak Records and 2 more.Recently at Green Room NYC, Nowadays, Camp Kennybrook · often with Mor Elian, DJ DEADNAME, Ma Sha, none of them here that night
“Igarashi’s distinctive take on techno is on display across a series of EPs on Midgar and The Bunker NY, as well as on Semantica, Time to Express, and Bitta.”

Igarashi’s distinctive take on techno is on display across a series of EPs on Midgar and The Bunker NY, as well as on Semantica, Time to Express, and Bitta. Recent standout remixes of Aurora Halal, Volte-Face and Prins Thomas have further demonstrated his considerable talents as a producer. The same mentality is present in his performances, whether DJing or playing live, with his measured control of frequencies and intensities shaping the dancefloor as he explores the more psychedelic dimensions of techno. In this way, Igarashi’s considered approach is one that stimulates the body and mind, generating energy and emotion. Wata Igarashiは独自のサウンドを確立したアーティストだ。緻密なサウンドデザインや構成力を持ち、陶酔感とサイケデリックさを融合させたIgarashi特有のテクノは、MidgarやThe Bunker NYの一連のEPやSemantica、Time to Express、 Bittaのリリースで聴く事ができる。 Their RA profile lists Semantica Records, Time To Express, Gynoid Audio, Counter Pulse and 6 more.Recently at Nowadays, Knockdown Center, BASEMENT · often with Berghain, Subb-an, Roi Perez, none of them here that night
