Living in Brooklyn by way of Karachi, Pakistan, Dynoman is widely credited as an instrumental figure in the formation and development of the Karachi underground and Pakistan’s electronic music scene. He has been producing electronic music under the Dynoman moniker since 2009, and co-founded Forever South, Pakistan’s first internationally recognized digital label, in 2012. Over the years, his sound has evolved alongside his lived experience, remaining rhythm-forward, percussion-driven, and rooted in movement. After relocating to New York in 2017, Dynoman founded Rare Frequency Transmissions, which he continues to co-run. He is a frequent presence in the Brooklyn underground and self-releases much of his work through Dynoman Music, showcasing a wide breadth of styles and approaches. When stepping into the booth, his sets are shaped by the moment rather than pre-planning, often unfolding without a fixed trajectory as he responds to the energy of the space and the room. In 2023, Dynoman co-founded Tarka, a project celebrating diaspora through artistic practice. In recent years, his work has increasingly explored rhythm, repetition, and shared states through sound, with live performances and recordings reflecting a deep engagement with percussion-led, future-facing approaches grounded in South Asian lineage.Experimental on 1. styles on their catalogued releasesTheir RA profile lists Rare Frequency Transmissions.Recently at Eavesdrop, Mood Ring, Night Club 101 · often with Bergsonist, Nabihah Iqbal, Ushka, none of them here that night

Lydo is a Filipino-born Vietnamese-American sound artist. As a resident DJ of BASEMENT NY, their distinctive sets explode the parameters of techno, deftly cutting across genres while retaining a highly personal emotional resonance. Whenever Lydo plays, it’s best to leave your expectations at the door and simply prepare for an unexpected array of sonic thrills, ranging from visceral and grooving to mind-bendingly experimental. A trans artist themselves, Lydo launched X-TRA.SERVICES to serve and create space for queer, trans, and nonbinary people of color. This ethos of care and insurgent collectivity runs through their broader practice. They have performed at Berlin Atonal, Draaimolen Festival, Bourse de Commerce, and Bassiani, as well as subterranean parties and festivals across North America, Europe, and Asia. Beyond the club, Lydo works with sound through installation, composition, and curation. Their abstract, experimental work spans museum and institutional contexts, including MoMA PS1, SculptureCenter, and Kunsthalle Basel, among others. In 2025, they launched care., an itinerant series for live and experimental sound that continues to explore new sonic forms in unexpected contexts.Their RA profile lists X-TRA.SERVICES.Recently at Nowadays, BASEMENT, Knockdown Center · often with The Carry Nation, Juana, Shaun J.
