As a DJ, Eli Verveine is widely respected for her ability to build her own dancefloor wherever she is in the world. Always engaged with the crowd, Eli sees communication as integral to the art of DJing: whether it’s warm-up, peak-time or after-hours, she captures the collective energy and applies just the right doses of drama and restraint until every dancer is locked into a unified groove. Eli’s versatile blend of genres and moods has brought her to some of the most iconic stages around, from the clubs Bassiani, Panoramabar, Fabric and Closer to the festivals Garbicz, Rainbow Disco Club, Waking Life, and delivering the prestigious closing set at Organik Festival in Taiwan. She has a B2B project, Among Trees, with Andrey Pushkarev. As a live performer, Eli Verveine collaborates with Berlin-based DJ/musician Gwenan on the experimental live project Gin & Tonic. With a setup combining modular synthesis, drum machines, effects pedals and more, the duo tease variegated musical textures out of extended improvisations. This open-ended approach, grounded in close listening and a strong mutual understanding between the two, leads to intriguing musical dialogues in which the machines do the talking. As a producer, Eli Verveine’s discography stretches back to the Ness EP (2012) on Tardis Records, the label she runs with Oscar Schubaq. In 2023, she released the track ‘Morning Dub’, on a VA from Chateau Chépère, and ‘Reverie’, a track resulting from a project with school children in Basel. Classically trained in piano, Baum’s innovative blend of electronic and pop music with art installation and film score has carved out a distinctive voice in contemporary music. Named after André Breton, Baum’s practice is inextricably linked to Surrealism, emphasizing radical self-inquiry and cultural critique whether making music for dancing or listening. For over a decade in Berlin, Baum’s work has spanned various mediums, including numerous collaborations with iconic German artist Rebecca Horn. He has hosted his People People Thing party at Club der Visionaere and Hoppetosse since 2021 with musical partner Gulp. Elia Nafzger is a name that has been prevalent throughout the London scene in recent years. He has built a reputation for himself amidst his peers and listeners. Known for his carefully curated, colourful sets boasting his smooth mix between different genres and moods, a subtle blend that constantly keeps audiences entertained.
