Hailing from New York, he was seduced by techno when Jeff Mills held residency (as well as his own first) at Limelight in the early 90s. Producing from the mid-90s onward, he released his first 12"s on Damon Wild's Synewave and his own Infrastructure imprint. A chance meeting in 1996 brought him together with Regis (Karl O'Connor). The two worked as Portion Reform, releasing uncompromising music on Downwards, making him the only non-Birmingham producer to appear on the label. He later moved to Berlin in 2007, still working with Regis, and now Silent Servant (Juan Mendez), putting his focus on Sandwell District. Marteka Fair is a North Carolina–based producer whose discography bridges hypnotic techno and experimental rhythmic design. Her sound collides discreet repetitious motives to precipitate complex polyrhythmic textures. As a DJ, she has shared bills with artists such as Rrose, Rødhåd, DVS1, and Dustin Zahn, and has appeared at institutions and festivals central to contemporary techno, including Slingshot Festival, The Great Beyond, Tresor in Berlin, and Flash. Whether playing extended club sets or festival floors, her selections emphasize continuity and pressure, favoring long arcs over immediacy. Alongside her solo output, she is one half of Mit Filter, a techno duet with Matthew Cha rooted in long-standing musical trust and shared intuition. Michael Cignarale is a Brooklyn based DJ and producer and a powerful enigma who has given the dance music scene a new feast for both sight and sound! In January 2024, he was named as one of DJ MAG’S “EIGHT EMERGING ARTISTS YOU NEED TO HEAR," shortly after releasing “Dance Like We Are Lovers,” which features remixes from Justin Cudmore and BASHKKA. Michael is the resident DJ of MEDUSA, an instrumental party that has shaped China’s dance music scene for the last eight years. Both a producer, vocalist, and DJ, Michael incorporates every facet of entertainment that audiences desire, and leaves them thirsty for more. His impactful live vocals are signature to his sets, paired with pumping 90’s inspired house music. His DJ sets are a blend of driving energy, flair, and exquisite frequencies that pump the essence of New York underground into your soul. In 2021 Michael released a 10-track album, “Operatic Orgasm.” The album garnered widespread acclaim thus solidifying his position within the industry as a versatile and sought-after music producer.
