From Los Angeles to El Salvador to Miami, now based in NYC. Alex Pastor brought his eclectic tastes & committed digging skills to global electronic music routes without losing the passion of the underground. His mix of house, techno, trance, electro, new beat, and breaks taps the sounds of that same circuit from revolutionary Third World music to old school California hip hop and his beginnings in classic trance. All the while oriented to the dance floor and custom to the moment. Alex cut his teeth throughout the dynamic Central American scene while living in El Salvador and traveled to homegrown yet internationally respected festivals in Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Honduras. Representation with BlackTone Agency ensured Alex made an impression on audiences in other U.S. cities and Europe, a clear inspiration for his musical formation. In Miami, Alex Pastor was immediately presented a residency for Un_Mute’s highly lauded party series where his selections showcase his digging work ethic along with a special sense for what makes people dance. “I always want to make those weird selections, out of left field. My philosophy for deejaying has always been 50% makes you dance, but 50% should be something that catches you off guard–something trippy.” Alex Pastor’s craft continues to evolve with each new stop on his journey and there’s no telling what scene will be lucky to be next. Joiah is an Italian–Colombian singer, producer, and DJ based in New York whose approach to electronic music feels closer to ritual than performance. She gravitates toward the spaces where eras, textures, and energies blur — between 90s trance echoes, cosmic house sensibilities, raw house breaks, and the shadowy pulse of techno. Never tied to a single lane, she moves through styles like currents, guided by intuition, symbolism, and emotion. As a producer, she released “Alchemic Amazon” on BSR, featuring a remix by Paolo Mosca, alongside several independent projects. Her collaborations include work with Muted Noise (with Roger Gerressen), Picnic Records, Klassified, vocal contributions to Gojnea76, an appearance on Nathan Melja’s Djo Sinego, and a guest mix for R&S Records. She has also delivered mixes for The Lot Radio. Joiah holds a residency with Signal and Apollo Studio while further expanding her presence within the global underground landscape. She has performed across the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Portugal, France, and the United States, and has shared the stage with acts such as Mochakk, Deniro, Gojnea76, Sandrien, BELLA, VTSS, and more. In New York, she curates the underground series Sudden Logic and hosts Talks With Goddesses — The Artemisia Collective, a podcast devoted to female empowerment in the arts and sports, exploring intuition, identity, and the transformative force of community. “Joiah’s artistry is like a galaxy brain-scaled explosion of sounds. An avid record collector and music enthusiast in its most diverse expressions. A regular among the best venues and parties in South America, such as Tango in Asunción, Avant Garten in Buenos Aires and the Brazilian infamous party 0db, where he is a resident DJ. Having lived in Berlin, Paris and Asunción throughout his career, he has amassed a rather singular and refined collection of records with special interest in quirky, obscure soundscapes. His appearances around the globe range from the white sands of Montañita at Trotamundo festival in Ecuador to Torino’s Outcast in northern Italy- to name a few.
