“The Ibiza based - born & raised Brazilian DJ - started her musical journey on the white island.”
their own biography
the whole biography
The Ibiza based - born & raised Brazilian DJ - started her musical journey on the white island. KALISMA has driven a versatile music identity. Her sound is a multi-faceted ride of depth and electrifying emotion, a true conversation between the audience and herself. KALISMA delivers remarkable energy, style and attitude through the margins of electro, melodic minimal, and tech house - in fact mixing a wide range of genres and making it sound like one groovy-sexy piece of a bouncy ride. She already experienced playing festivals along side Black Coffee, Damian Lazarus, Seth Troxler, Ame, Keinemusik to name a few. Earlier this year KALISMA was seen playing in several clubs around Europe, starting from her debut in Berlin at Ritter Butzke, being often seen in Italy with The Sanctuary Milan-Rome-Porto Cervo, and the well-known Raspoutine in Paris. In Belgium she had precisous festival debuts where she was seen on line-ups at Voodoo Village, We Can Dance and Extrema Outdoor this year. In Ibiza KALISMA kicked off her season with her first residency in the island with SHEN by Franky Wah where she played alongside legends such as Pete Tong, John Digweed and Sasha. Followed by other SHEN events - where she joins the brand globally - KALISMA was last seen at Amsterdam Dance Event for her debut in the city. Her curiosity for the underground came in Ibiza when she moved in 2017 where she started working for the music industry. From this moment on DJ'ing was a fixation. Few years later experiencing her first taste of playing for well known clubs in Ibiza - it became a passion with no turning back. At the moment KALISMA spends her time in Ibiza and Sao Paulo where she's been working on her first productions coming out in 2024.Last at MAD Radio NYC in Jun · often with Auphoria, none of them here that night

Luis Cabrera a.k.a. NegK (Cuenca, Ecuador, 1986) realized after he first played the bass guitar that his world would revolve around music. His auditory existence has always allowed him to be close to new musical trends. Attentive to the growing electronic movement in his country, he became an aficionado and a collector of the genre. In 2003, he traveled to New York City, acquired his first turntables, and started to build his record collection with a minimalistic house and techno sound. In this way, he propelled himself into the musical realm and began his career as a DJ. He introduced himself to the local underground scene by playing at his city’s first private parties and after-parties. His minimalist tech house and techno style, new at the time, quickly captivated the public, consolidating a large group of followers. In a short time, NegK established himself at both a local and national level, giving him the opportunity to organize events and become part of the most important festivals and parties in Ecuador with the help of his good friend Pancho Piedra, who is considered to be the pioneer of the underground movement in Ecuador and who has educated the public to this movement making Cuenca one of South America’s most important locations in the underground music scene. At the same time, NegK was an important part of creating this new way of life in the city. His musical taste and tendency has led to him sharing the booth with celebrated DJs such as Francis Harris aka Adultnapper, Konrad Black, Magda, Marc Houle, Jeremy P Caulfield, Franco Cinelli, Tony Rohr, John Selway, Cesare vs Disorder, Shadi Megallaa, Connie, and others. In 2008, NegK move to New York where he found a much larger open door for his musical career, and little by little he has risen in the New York music scene, where he has great recognition. In a short time, he became a resident DJ for Rite of Wednesdays in the Lower East Side club Karma, where he played in one of the most important Wednesday night events in New York. From there, more opportunities opened, leading him to play some of the most important clubs in New York, such as Cielo, TBA, National Underground, Stay, Porch, and others. It has also led him to be part of incredible lineups comprised of both local and international talents. In time, NegK began to consolidate his own sound and style: a retro-groove mix with a minimalistic tendency and a base between house and techno. Today, he works at his label AnusualRecords, which launched in 2010 in Barcelona. Soon, he will print new releases on wax and host a radio show in Sub.fm (London) every two thursdays a month plus a summer residency in the Hamptons where he promotes and Djs in different parts of the end of Long Island.Their RA profile lists Anusual Records.Last at Apollo Studio in Apr · often with Monodos, LegenDari, SOLANA, none of them here that night
