the whole biography
Born in New York, Jared Maharaj has built his reputation in the city's underground on instinct over formula. His sets are anchored by deep, driving basslines and move restlessly between warm, floor-ready house and hypnotic, dubbed-out techno — always chasing the feeling of the room rather than a fixed destination. That refusal to be pinned down has earned him spots alongside international talents like Youandewan, Boris Werner, and Giammarco Orsini, and collaborations with some of New York's most respected promoters and venues including Golden Record, Vigilante, Signal, and 333 Stagg. A residency with Ibiza Stardust Radio has extended that reach further. Beyond the decks, he co-runs E'Klektik, a party championing range across house and techno — rooted in a shared musical lineage stretching back to New York's earliest dance music days.Recently at Apollo Studio, MAD Radio NYC, Bomba nyc · often with Vivian Wang, J Anton, Roni Amitai, none of them here that night

“Miami-born and NYC-based, Ani Be is a DJ whose passion for music first began with dance.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Miami-born and NYC-based, Ani Be is a DJ whose passion for music first began with dance. Before ever stepping behind the decks, she experienced music through movement, giving herself over to the rhythm and becoming fascinated by its ability to shift something within her and, in turn, the energy of an entire room. That instinct sits at the center of the way she plays. Drawn to the minimal and dubby intersection of house, techno, and electro, Ani Be’s sound is immersive, sensual, and built for movement. Driving basslines sit at the center of her selections, balanced by hypnotic repetition, floating textures, and a strong emphasis on lyrical storytelling. Her selections drift between tender and playful moments and deeper, driving rhythms, while maintaining a sense of physicality. At the heart of her selections is simply the music that moves her. Constantly exploring new sounds, she follows feeling first rather than genre, searching for music that creates both a physical and emotional response. In sharing that music with the room, she returns to the instinct that first brought her to music as a dancer: to surrender to sound, move with it, and invite others to find their own connection through it.
