the whole biography
R-DNA's selections are guided by a deep belief in the meditative, healing power of electronic music — an ethos shaped by years immersed in the underground queer scenes of Berlin, Buenos Aires, and Taipei before moving to New York. Their sound follows long emotional arcs built through extended blends and subtle shifts, moving fluidly between minimal, percussive depth and hardgroove peak-time pressure — drawing on the tension and release that defines both dancefloor ritual and personal transformation. As host of tension/release on Newtown Radio, R-DNA extends that ethos into curation — platforming emerging queer and FLINTA* artists in NYC and beyond through a techno-rooted, genre-fluid format that prioritizes depth over trend.Recently at Mood Ring, Honey's, SILO · often with masha latte, 1ol1v1a, SEDENTARY, none of them here that night
