Boris, the long-standing Berghain resident, is deeply committed to the captivating magic that unfolds on the dance floor. This burning passion within him sparks a longing to shape, tease and playfully amplify the intensity of the dance floor action. With over two decades of experience as a producer for the likes of Ostgut Ton and Careless and as a DJ, he remains an unwavering, yet never predictable, mainstay. Renowned for his extended, scorching techno closing sets, Boris is one of the most well-versed and dedicated protagonists in Berlin's vibrant queer electronic scene. However, to pigeonhole Boris only to Berlin would be doing him a disservice. In fact, his visits to legendary clubs like Paradise Garage and the Loft in New York City have left an indelible mark on his persona and DJ style. Imagine the euphoric sounds that created a sense of belonging and ecstasy in Boris's heart while experiencing the massive pumping sound and welcoming community feeling at NYC's clubs. He brings this same warmth and playful energy to dance floors worldwide. His infectious style makes it effortless for clubbers to lose themselves in the music and partying, earning him a loyal following within the queer scene - and beyond. Whether he's playing small, intimate clubs, festivals, or his prestigious residencies such as Berghain, Faust in Seoul, or House of Mince in Sydney, Boris has the gift to take people to another state of mind where nothing matters but the music and the moment.Techno on 5, House on 6, Electro on 3 and Ambient on 2. styles on their catalogued releasesTheir RA profile lists Ostgut Ton, Careless Records and 30D Records.Recently at Knockdown Center, BASEMENT, SILO · often with Massimiliano Pagliara, Wilco, Veit, none of them here that night

the whole biography
Volvox is a global leader in the movement for representation of female, queer, trans and nonbinary identities in the techno industry. A dominant figure of New York’s techno renaissance, across the globe the name DJ Volvox has become synonymous with surgical mixing technique and a certain square-shooting, take-no-prisoner approach towards dance floor business. Her parties are the stuff of legend, and her authenticity as a global cultural figure is undeniable. As a member of Discwoman, the all-female DJ crew that transformed electronic music culture over the last decade, she broke ground for more women to rise in the global DJ ranks and inspired countless more to begin in the craft. Having circled the globe more times than she can count, Volvox has turned her sights back on nurturing electronic music culture in her home, the United States. Ariana is now spearheading the construction of a space of inclusivity under the umbrella of a FLINTA-driven event series, simply named FLINTA NYC. Her music-driven program seeks to reinvigorate the techno scene by reviving context and nuance and blending scenes to push Brooklyn nightlife into the next chapter. Ariana is known for tough, stripped-back techno and groovy hypnotic sets that seduce the listener into a maelstrom of emotion. She has been a busy DJ and event producer since 2006 and in that time has shared the decks with many international stars including DVS1, Marcel Dettmann, Ellen Allien, The Hacker, Legowelt and Mike Servito. Raised in Buffalo, New York, her early experiences in the industrial and rave scenes of rust-belt America shaped her outlook on dance culture. An ardent supporter of the underground, she was a key figure in developing the electronic music scene in Boston, Massachusetts from 2007-2010. Breaking out internationally in 2015 she has enjoyed a busy tour schedule including noted appearances at Dekmantel and the ascendant Sustain-Release festival in upstate New York. Since then she tours extensively across Europe and makes regular appearances at Berghain/Panorama Bar in Berlin. She also tours South America and Asia yearly. Ariana is a unique character on the US scene guaranteed to bring a high energy show that lights up dance floors with an undeniable spirit.Their RA profile lists Ostgut Ton, Jack Dept and Murder Records.Recently at 314 Scholes, Paragon, Knockdown Center · often with Dominga, Sissies of Mercy, Johanna Constantine, none of them here that night

Emerging as Phase Fatale in 2014, Berlin-based DJ, producer and label owner, Hayden Payne is rewriting the discourse of Techno with his cross-pollination of gnarly basslines, sensual narratives and mind-control mechanics. Demonstrating his vision through an authentic, highly curated sonic-lens of techno, the New York native’s rhythmic excursions draw on his roots in the underground scenes of his respective cities as well as his reputable experience performing to dancefloors globally. Exemplified by long-standing tenures as a resident for esteemed institutions such as Berlin’s Berghain, KHIDI in Georgia's capital Tbilisi, and queer New York collective Merge, Payne demonstrates a resolute understanding of harnessing club synergy across his productions and DJ sets. With three full length albums under his belt, including the 2020 sophomore release ‘Scanning Backwards’ on Berghain’s imprint Ostgut Ton, Payne’s sonic signature pushes the boundaries of techno sensibilities and reflects the zeitgeist whilst staying true to his own vision. Wasting no time since his solo project’s inception to showcase his expert sonic ability, Payne has toured throughout Europe performing at renowned clubs and festivals worldwide, releasing numerous records on labels including Jealous God, Ostgut Ton, and his own label BITE. Hailing from post-punk roots, Payne draws on his depth of musical knowledge and multitude of influences. His merging of nuanced references and high concept narratives remain geared towards the dancefloor at its core, subtleties of his multifarious sonic palette act as the foundations for his layered wall of sound. Payne launched the BITE imprint in 2018 as a means to platform cutting-edge sound production across a diverse roster of international artists. Along with fellow Soft Crash protagonist Pablo Bozzi pioneering ‘Italo Body Music’, BITE’s seminal synthesis of curated techno solidifies the label as a tour de force taste-maker within electronic music with showcases worldwide including Berghain and their 5 year anniversary compilation ‘Shedding Skin’ in 2023.Their RA profile lists Ostgut Ton, Hospital Productions, Jealous God, Falling Ethics and 4 more.Recently at Nowadays, BASEMENT · often with Berghain, Cormac, nd_baumecker, none of them here that night
“Where words fail, music speaks.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Where words fail, music speaks. Reserved and solitary, Léa found refuge in music since her childhood. Jazz, soul music or French chansons, family moments usually came and still come hand in hand with music and sharing the joint, somewhat meditative listening experience. An ardent curiosity for Electronic Music started rising in her highschool days, pushing her towards broadening the musical horizon and consequently DJing in parallel to her fashion and design studies. After a few years of exploring parties in Germany and Paris, she co-founded Spectrum Waves in 2017 - a parisian LGBTQ+ collective with tolerance, diversity, freedom, parity and respect at its core. The collective hosts events at Station Gare des Mines, a rehabilitated industrial wasteland and former railway station, to provide a safer space for minority communities, where freedom of expression is lived in all thinkable forms. Through its lineups and podcasts channel, Spectrum highlights emerging French and international DJs and producers. Léa is also at the forefront of promoting women in the Parisian electronic scene. Further commitments go as far as donating parts of the Spectrum earnings to different associations close to her heart such as aid to migrants and refugees, LGBTQIA+ associations or the fight against HIV. Through her collective, she has managed to create a perfect balance between her own desires, ambitions and her fundamental values. Name the unnameable, communicate the unknowable. Spectrum Waves also vastly helped shaping Léa’s musical comprehension and appreciation of Techno as an outlet, which is able to create the same meditative listening experience and togetherness she feels when listening to music with her family. Her sets stand out for their sharp selection and absolute coherence. A mental, groovy Techno fueled by organic, tribal elements – widely reverberating in its uniqueness and class. The creation of an intimate atmosphere and cohesion in each of her sets makes them stand out, equally so does the implementation of feelings and emotions while at the same time following a rather minimalistic approach in the music itself. A real digger at heart, she has a very wide range of styles and tempos, from techno to micro house, minimal, deep, or ambient - she knows how to adapt and read energies, giving what's needed at the right moment. Pornceptual, Eerste Cie, Power Dance Club or Meat free… Playing for collectives that match her values and commitments is crucial. She performs in renowned clubs and festivals such as Berghain, Tresor, Club Raum, De School, Bassiani, Basement NYC, Fold, Le Sucre, ∄ Kyiv, Awakenings, Dekmantel, Fusion, Whole Festival to name a few. their own biography
the whole biography
Juana has enticed crowds all over the world at venues such as Berghain, LuxFrágil, Fabric, Smartbar, Basement, Nowadays, and countless festivals and underground warehouse gigs. She originally hails from the city of Chicago where she cultivated her love for the underground at clubs like Smartbar and The Generator and parties such as Soul in the Hole and Boom Boom Room. She began DJing in roughly 2001 and moved to DC in 2003 where she began hosting weekly live internet radio shows on HandzOnRadio (Baltimore) and Cyberjamz (Tampa) and playing parties in the DC scene, upping her skills alongside her mentor and legendary DJ Sam “the Man” Burns, and at clubs including Red and the DC Sanctuary. Juana started obsessively collecting disco and early house records in the late 90s and eventually developed an undying penchant for straight-ahead techno and deeper, darker shades of first and second-wave Chicago dance music. In the 2010s, Juana made her mark in DC as one of only a handful of techno DJs and a resident of the legendary rave, Sequence, and started regularly touring North and South America and EU. In the 2020s, Juana picked up major momentum, becoming a resident of the renowned rave Unter and making frequent appearances at Basement, Nowadays, and Paragon. She has been a founding member of the DC QT BIPOC collective NOXEEMA JACKSON since 2021, and in 2026, joined the MERGE collective. As a producer, her most recent EP “We Are Everything We Think We're Not” was released in March 2024, and she has also appeared recently on releases from the No Mercy, World Building, and Perimeter Junk labels. She is currently working on more releases, probably until she croaks.Their RA profile lists Bound, Vanity Press Records, ROAMANCE, Trax Only and 1 more.Recently at Knockdown Center, Refuge, telos.haus · often with Concrete Husband, LYDO, Akua, none of them here that night

Spanish DJ and producer, Ne/Re/A, a fixture of Brooklyn's teeming techno ecosystem for more than 10 years, has a distinctly energetic approach to the genre - relentless groove and unapologetically timeless. In 2021, Ne/Re/A was named resident DJ of the Brooklyn-based queer party, MERGE, which has served as a musical home and has allowed her to explore the depths of her sonic palette alongside a sophisticated rolodex of the genre's legends. She has played alongside DVS1, Boris, Phase Fatale, Wata Igarashi, Takaaki Itoh and Ancient Methods (to name a few). She cut her teeth as the founder and resident DJ of Distrikt1, the monthly weeknight party at Brooklyn's historic Bossa Nova Civic Club. She's played reputable parties in New York - Unter, Wrecked, Bound and many nights at the city's premiere institutions in BASEMENT, Nowadays, and Paragon. She's played at Berlin's Tresor, Pornceptual, Gegen and at the iconic queer pilgrimage, Whole Festival, BULTO and Video Club in Colombia and Brutal in Mexico City. Her collaborative project, Name Names, with DC-based DJ and producer Juana explores the darker shades of her repertoire, where driving propulsive techno are at the forefront. In 2025, her prowess grows, Ne/Re/A makes her debut in Asia at Taiwan's highly-regarded Organik Festival and Seoul's Volnost, plays notable parties in New York like Wire Festival, Berlin and South America, and continues her residency with MERGE. As a producer Ne/Re/A sharply blends industrial and EBM with melodic techno into her own concoction - a heady assemblage of punch and drive. In 2025 she just released a collaborative track with Clarisa Kimskii in Phase Fatale's BITE record label. In 2024 she released two new tracks for Maison Fauna “In the Dark” and Infra “Piercing the veil”. Having cut his teeth over the last decade coming up through Brooklyn’s warehouse scene, NYC-based Auspex has solidified himself as a regular fixture and contributor to its underground techno community, a DJ, producer, label boss and tireless organizer very much at home in the city's vibrant queer nightlife scene. Having made regular appearances over the years at such legendary parties like The Bunker, Merge and Unter, he soon found himself at the helm of the transcendent party ALTÆR when Basement emerged onto the club-scape. Now six years running, ALTÆR has become known for its immersive and music-driven line-ups, pulling the together some of the world’s best international techno and house talents. He’s also made frequent appearances in Berlin at venues like RSO , Griessmuehle and most recently Berghain, as well as appearances at underground functions like Pornceptual, Gegen and STAUB. Most recently, he launched his own techno imprint Templum to showcase his production work and some of the hottest and most prolific producers of hypnotic and raw techno working in the industry today. With a healthy and robust release calendar already in the pipeline, Templum is poised to become a major source of dance floor fire power in the months and years ahead. Musically, Auspex conjures techno as a space of collective hypnosis—with sets that move with fluid precision and driving percussion through intergalactic expanses, leading dancers through spiraling grooves and sensory depth, shaping an experience that’s equal parts body ritual and psychedelic voyage. As a classically-trained multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, his compositions are in infused with narrative tension and a rambunctious mischief, driving dance floors to bedlam and then back again.Their RA profile lists Soma Records, Diffuse Reality, Whirlwind Trax, Oath and 2 more.Recently at Nowadays, Knockdown Center, BASEMENT · often with cotton, Juliana Huxtable, Elle Dee, none of them here that night

With an unmistakably frisky approach to the craft, Roi Perez’s extensive DJ-sets anchor dance floors and locks the room into a shared frequency, creating an atmosphere of togetherness, where loose sweaty bodies tune in and resolve into a single collective experience. Focusing all of his artistic energy solely on DJing, the Berlin-based DJ crafts long, percussive narratives that swing between sweat and sweetness. With an ever expanding record collection, his sets span groove-led house, tribal-leaning techno, and the teasing, flirtatious heartbeat of a good ballroom. His Panorama Bar residency, lasting over a decade, has shaped his sound signature. In Berghain’s most playful room, Perez has refined a way of mixing that feels expansive without losing intimacy. The same spirit follows him to Dekmantel, Glastonbury Festival and other stages worldwide, and he is equally at home in the steamy basements we all love so much. In short: Roi Perez is a key figure wherever long sets, instinct and mischief shape the night. Perez’s own party LAUNDRETTE traces dance music back to its queer roots through time-stretching sets and a deep attunement to the room’s collective resonance. The project also directs funds to marginalised communities and humanitarian initiatives.Recently at BASEMENT, Knockdown Center · often with Berghain, David Elimelech, Partok, none of them here that night

Defined by a technically-deft skill set (Resident Advisor recently proclaimed: “Now this is how you mix techno”) Rachel Noon is a fearless and uncompromising presence both behind the decks and on the dancefloor. Despite her rising European acclaim and recent appointment as resident DJ of Pornceptual, Noon attributes her significant career strides to her hometown of NYC and to Brooklyn's inspiring underground queer scene. Active as both artist and raver there, she successfully fostered a vibrant community of friends and like-minded peers. This community gave rise to her roaming event series LARGE MARGE which has since expanded internationally, with exciting plans ahead. Now from her home-turf Berlin, Noon has co-founded the intimate queer party series mp3, which has rapidly gained popularity in just two short years. If you ask Noon, her most exciting artistic initiative is currently going down inside the studio; she and her friend Steffen Dix have teamed up to form Self Care Starter Pack (or simply, SCSP), a production and live performance duo. Together they have cultivated a process-driven practice whose work takes a nose-dive towards hardware-only experimentation and the integration of optics into performance. Their first single was already released on the mighty Mala Junta x Amniote Editions compilation, and the duo debuted their live set in the fall of 2023 in Berlin. Rachel Noon, a true dancefloor devotee, has been hailed "equal parts DJ and rave spirit."Their RA profile lists Fast Forward Productions.Recently at BASEMENT, Signal, Knockdown Center · often with Carly Zeng, Mike Servito, CRYME, none of them here that night
