Every piece of Tones screams New York City. His appreciation and love for music began at the age of 8 through experimenting with wind and percussion instruments. New friends in high school introduced Tones to nightclubs in Manhattan, and he fell in love with the concepts of mixing tracks and controlling the vibe of an entire club from behind the decks, much like Junior Vasquez and Danny Tenaglia. After going to only a few events in the 90’s at places like Sound Factory and Limelight, he quickly purchased turntables and a few records to see if he could emulate their mixing skills and musical creativity. The rest is all history. Knowing already how to read music and establishing rhythm, mixing tracks and creating a "flow" came easy, and within a few years he was playing in US and International hot spots. The Big Apple has definitely influenced Tones’ music, although his Italian culture gives it a proper balance between deep percussion, classic vocals, and a whole lot of love. His purpose is simple: Build a Vibe, Create Emotion, and Surprise the Crowd. In 2013, Tones created Technition Records, LLC, a music label aimed at producing House music using state of the art analog and digital instruments, the latest software, and live vocals in studio. Technition Records also hosts some of the biggest House events in New York. Recently, Technition Records joined forces with Biohazard Promotions to create a new event called “No Inhibitions”. The best way to describe “No Inhibitions” is a fun and exciting night out with no regrets. Although the music is the predominant factor, the party also focuses on the aesthetics by appropriately blending visuals, artwork, culture, and dancers to provide a unique and “old school” vibe for partygoers.
