Who they are
“As a proponent that mixes should leave the listener baffled, exhilarated, and maybe a little bit aroused, Aleister blends an impulsively improvised mix of bass-driven electro, footwork-style breakbeats, smooth Miami basslines, robotic acid techno synths, and a dash of fuzzy punk distortion.”

As a proponent that mixes should leave the listener baffled, exhilarated, and maybe a little bit aroused, Aleister blends an impulsively improvised mix of bass-driven electro, footwork-style breakbeats, smooth Miami basslines, robotic acid techno synths, and a dash of fuzzy punk distortion. Keeping in theme, his monthly show on Half Moon and previously on 91.5FM WUML, Factory 303, has become the go-to show for international talent showcases and a wide variety of percussive-forward bass music, perfect for bass-heads that can’t really make up their minds about what they want to hear.Their RA profile lists low income $quad, Ovelha Trax, Club Designs and CLUB SP33D.Recently at SILO, Mood Ring, Carpark · often with rmzi, WADDLE, DJ BLINGG, none of them here that night

Raised in Boston and based in Brooklyn, pastiche is a Chinese-American DJ whose lifelong passion for dance music is reflected in his genre-agnostic selections, informed by years of collecting records and as a participant in New York’s vibrant underground scene. Grounded in a foundational respect for UK soundsystem culture and experimental music, pastiche’s sets explore the interplay between musical styles, favoring textural tracks that blur the lines between genres to craft unique stories. Never content on settling for one lane, his mixes traverse multiple influences ranging from techno, dubstep, breakbeat, jungle, and drum & bass with a playful, restless approach that’s self-described as the result of unmedicated childhood ADHD.Recently at Mood Ring, Earthly Delights, Rash · often with Deanyo, ogd, miss benji, none of them here that night
