    their own biography

    the whole biography
Perc is one of electronic dance music’s reference points: an internationally touring DJ, label owner and one of the most respected producers in techno today. Known as one of the most forward-thinking individuals in techno Perc (aka London based Ali Wells) fuses current sounds with his extensive knowledge of electronic music’s past to create something new & unique. A regular artist on such scene-leading labels as CLR, Kompakt, Drumcode, Stroboscopic Artefacts and Ovum as well as his own world-reknown Perc Trax imprint, Perc is as uncompromising as he is unique. As a DJ, Perc has taken to the decks across the world in seminal clubs such like Berghain, Fabric, Cocoliche in Buenos Aires, Space Ibiza, Tresor, Unit in Tokyo and many more. His sound is a fusion of the cream of current techno mixed with choice selections from electronic music’s forefathers. Production-wise the last few years can be described in two words 'Wicker & Steel' - the title of Perc's debut album, released on Perc Trax in June of 2011 and which has lifted him to a new level of respect and recognition. In the last year Perc has diversified with remixes for Factory Floor on DFA, Black Asteroid on Electric Deluxe, Mike Parker on Edit Select and Oscar Mulero on Warm-Up, plus two EPs; the searing statement of intent that is ‘A New Brutality’ on Perc Trax and Guardian single of the week ‘Pure & Simple’ on Sleaze. This coupled with his busiest ever year of gigs including debut appearances in Argentina, Australia, Singapore and Finland has meant his sound is better known and more influential than ever before. “Natia Chichinadze, AKA Creams, makes music full of traps.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Natia Chichinadze, AKA Creams, makes music full of traps. Each song a Pandora’s Box with paradoxical lyrics and melodies born from myths, dreams and literary ideas; sensory-stimulating music that sounds like “cotton candy,” but with far deeper heart notes. Emerging from Georgia, a small country fuelled by tension on the borders of Europe and Asia, Creams speaks 4 different languages and has a powerful sense of her own abilities. Her creativity comes from instinct, her gut “never fails,” and she insists that the circumstances of her generation prepared her for battle. Driving every aspect of the songwriting process is paramount to Creams’ creative output. She writes, plays and produces all of the records from concept to master, and spends her spare hours hacking plugins and tirelessly hustling to make these records come to life. Making music for Creams is therapy, an emotional outlet when the world reveals its chaotic and complex nature.

“2025 Artist Bio Markus is a DJ and producer based in Brooklyn, New York.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
2025 Artist Bio Markus is a DJ and producer based in Brooklyn, New York. Markus is known for his versatility, playing a variety of genres including EBM, House, Italo, 80s Darkwave, Breaks, and more. However, he is most renowned for his unique blend of old school electro and new school brolectro, with a distinctive touch of lesbian techno. Born to Palestinian immigrant parents in Las Vegas, he grew up in the suburbs during the 90s, where he developed a deep appreciation for 90s R&B music. In middle school, he discovered trance via Napster and limewire, igniting his passion for electronic music. Markus's move to San Francisco marked a significant turning point in his musical journey. Immersing himself in the city's vibrant underground dance scene, he learned from the renowned Honey Soundsystem, a queer collective, and the iconic Club Lonely. He also became obsessed with the local garage rock scene and perhaps his most significant musical inspiration, Beach House. In 2010, Markus co-founded the indie chillwave band Seatraffic with his friend Brandon Harrison. As the band's synth player and vocalist, Markus contributed to their unique sound, leading to several successful releases over five years. During this period, Markus found his true self on the dance floor, forming his first queer friendships and feeling a profound sense of belonging. This community became his family and played a crucial role in shaping his identity. Inspired by artists like early Grimes and Purity Ring, Markus began producing his own crossover tracks. However, his career as an architectural professional meant that music took a secondary role for a time. Just before the COVID-19 pandemic, Markus received his first pair of turntables from his then-boyfriend, now best-friend, Dylan. This gift ignited his passion for DJing, and during lockdown, he honed his skills as a bedroom DJ, playing at the lockdown afters with friends. Markus's most influential mentor, Robert Yang (Bezier), introduced him to Ouissam, of Savage Club Hanoi and the founder of Equation Festival in Vietnam. Ouissam challenged Markus to perform at the Rave Cave during Equation Festival 2023. Markus prepared a new live set and made his comeback after a five-year hiatus, performing original productions like "Want It Back" and "With Your Girlfriends," two tracks deeply rooted in the original sounds of Detroit Electro of the 90s, with a San Francisco and Dutch sprinkling of EBM on top. On the same trip, Markus celebrated his birthday at Savage Hanoi, where he was asked to replace Sedaf Adassi, who had to cancel due to COVID-19. This unexpected opportunity led to Markus's first DJ gig at one of Asia's most prestigious clubs. Back in Brooklyn, Markus continued to build his reputation, performing at venues like Bossa Nova Civic Club and participating in fundraisers for Palestine. Later he eventually secured regular gigs at Basement, where he plays in both the Main Room and the multi-genre-focused Studio. In 2024, Markus embarked on his first DJ tour in Asia, performing at renowned clubs such as .Tag, Pawnshop, Heim, and returning to Savage in Hanoi. This year, he will debut at Nowadays for their 24-hour party, nonstop, alongside Lena Wilkens and Vladimir Ivkovic. Markus is also set to perform at this year's Wire Festival at the Knockdown Center in May and make his European debut at Herrensauna's CSD Party in July.

“It would be wrong to start talking about where Ouissam comes from – after a decade in Asia, he’s now something of a regional entity that has managed to change the dance music scene wherever he has laid down roots.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
It would be wrong to start talking about where Ouissam comes from – after a decade in Asia, he’s now something of a regional entity that has managed to change the dance music scene wherever he has laid down roots. His approach to a dance floor is as simple as it is intuitive and elegant: nothing that can make a room shudder with joy is barred from his selections. As the founder of Hong Kong’s Cliche Records, he was one of the first in that city to cultivate a disco-house-techno synthesis that shifted the understanding of what could be danced to there. He went on to create the magnetic Homesick and Fragrant Harbour labels, before suddenly setting his sights on Hanoi in Vietnam, where he has established the dance mecca Savage where he runs the monthly queer night Snug. And on top of all that, he found time to curate the coveted Equation festival, now entering its fifth year. But beyond his achievements, you find a DJ with a pure love and appreciation for the power of music, and one that has learnt how to harness this love into something that can be transmitted to his dance floors. Moving effortlessly between disco, house and techno, long-lost gems collide with cutting-edge groove to produce a sonic aesthetic that is simply irresistible.

“Nita is a noted member of the legendary House of Aviance.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Nita is a noted member of the legendary House of Aviance. She started DJing around the turn of the millennium and was a resident at the infamous Mr. Black and Westgay, both touchstones for queer artistry and culture in downtown nightlife of the early 2000's. Will has deep roots in NYC club culture, having worked at The Loft and collaborated closely with David Mancuso, holding residencies at many of the downtown New York clubs over the years including The Limelight, Life and Vandam. After dividing his time between NYC and Paris, working on music with fashion houses such as Issey Miyake, Vivienne Westwood and Yves Saint Laurent, Will returned to DJing dance floors when he co-created SPANK with partners Sean B & Jason Roe. What started as a basement dance party evolved into a roving art-based warehouse party along with a namesake zine. SPANK began to work closely with Horse Meat Disco and the close relationship with that crew has extended in various forms through the years into the present. Currently, Nita and Will perform globally as both individual DJs and, more often, as a duo --they are most recognized for epic extended B2B sets and their wildly successful monthly queer party (also known as The Carry Nation) at Brooklyn's Good Room. Their range is wide and exciting, and in the New York tradition they effortlessly flow through genres and time periods while keeping a modern edge. Since the inception of The Carry Nation, the duo has toured the world extensively including Glastonbury’s Block 9 and Berlin’s Berghain/Panorama Bar among many others. They also have a residency at Ladyfag's flagship monthly Battle Hymn. As producers, their credits include releases and remixes on Get Up Recordings, Classic Music Company, TRIBAL, Nervous, TRAX, Batty Bass, TWIRL, W&O Street Tracks and more. Their latest venture is Major Records, an imprint they co-founded with Justin Cudmore to showcase their Majorettes collaboration with releases that are setting dancefloors alight with a fresh but classic house vibe that stays rooted in the excitement of New York’s history and underground.
