Dennis Cruz is one of the pillars of the underground house and tech community. At 17 years old Dennis started djing whilst also studying sound engineer. In his 20s, he had already worked with several hiphop artists and rock bands in the studio with their production. As a DJ and producer he is truly setting trends with his fresh sounds and, off the back of his busiest year yet, he has plenty more in store for the world in 2017. The Spaniard is never far away from the top of the charts thanks to his high rate of release on labels like Snatch!, Solid Grooves, Suara, Lemon-Aid and Suruba X amongst many others. For his work he has picked up many awards and nominations from being Beatport’s 3rd Best Tech House Artist to Resident Advisor’s 2nd Most Charted Artist of 2016. He has had many Number 1s on Beatport and is currently top of the overall Tech House Chart. Always serving up dancing dynamite, it is no wonder he has found favour with big hitters like Jamie Jones and Joseph Capriatti, Roger Sanchez and Marco Carola, all of whom reach for his tunes when they need to make an impact. In 2015 Dennis was nominated Best Tech-House Dj and Best Spanish Artist at the Vicious Music Awards, and more recently in 2016 Dennis held 4 nominations, Best Tech-House Dj, Best Spanish Artist, Best Producer and Best Dj from Vicious. Michael Bibi has fast become an established member of the Underground Music scene. The London based new kid has honed is craft between countless hours in the DJ Booth & Locking himself away in his South London studio curating the world wide recognised sound & brand that is 'SolidGrooves'....Bibi is more than just your average Producer/DJ. Playing Music, Making music & a love for the party scene are the three sole things that motivate the SolidGrooves 'Head Honcho', he will not let anyone or anything come between him and making sure that his unique stamp is on every piece of music released & party put on under the brands name. 'I eat, breath, sleep and s**t this music' says Michael. Bibi's raw passion for Music has been with him since childhood but his enthusiasm for the underground came at the tender age of 14 when he acquired his first pair of Numark, belt drive turntables. From this moment on DJ'ing was an obsession for the enthusiastic teenager, then a few years on upon experiencing his first taste of fruity loops making music & playing it became the addiction which could never be shaken off. Picking up steam, PAWSA received the firm backing of industry stalwarts Green Velvet and Nicole Moudaber who both locked down EP's from the innovative producer on Relief Records and Mood Records respectively. Further to that, he can also call upon the likes of Adam Beyer and Pan-Pot as staunch supporters. These early successes further cementing the feeling that PAWSA is a producer destined to make a lasting impact. In 2015, PAWSA co-founded Solid Grooves Records alongside Michael Bibi and with the underlying motif of "let the music do the talking”, the label provided a firm base for PAWSA's latest EP ‘Stage Two’. The sister company to the much vaunted Solid Grooves club night with regular happenings in London, Ibiza and Berlin, the label has been an important string to the bow of PAWSA. PAWSA's signature sound - inventive tech house with an old school vibe - is decisively made for the dance-floor. As a DJ he lays down carefully curated and atmospheric sets. The producer identifies with also being a DJ in the most natural, traditional sense: he makes music which he can play out and share with a crowd. PAWSA regularly performs at esteemed clubs around Europe and held a much talked about residency in Sankeys Ibiza throughout 2015. Alongside all of this, PAWSA also turns his own magical and much loved ‘PAWSA's Mixtape Series’ and some top weekly tips for producers and DJs alike via his ‘Groover Essentials’ series. PAWSA is one DJ who is letting quality records do all the talking and at the outset of 2015, few are coming close to his consistency and indisputable calibre of his productions.
