Part Miami Bass, vintage house bounce, and tribal euphoria, Coffintexts' music is a cocktail of indulgence served straight from the queer underground. When Coffintexts first burst onto the club scene in the late '10s, she was part of a new cohort of Miami producers reshaping dance music. Equally influenced by everything from 90s tribal rhythms to Latin American-inflected Club to UK rave, she emerged as part of the city's new guard. Putting out records on labels including Omnidisc, Club Romantico, Club QU, Classico, and a forthcoming record on TraTraTrax, she has quickly established herself as one of the Magic City's most vibrant musicians. Even within this crowded field, Coffintexts acts as a unique center of gravity. While drawing from the percussive promiscuity of her Peruvian heritage and the bass weight of her hometown, she also gravitated towards the cerebral funk of '90s hardgroove, wiggly house, and the chromatic polish of UK techno. Cutting her teeth in house parties and gay clubs across Miami, she's always gravitated towards the minimal, groove-focused energy of dance music at its most muscular and hypnotic. This background has put her into conversation not just with the 305, but with the larger global queer dance music cosmology and she's shared the decks with DJs like Volvox, ISAbella, and Shyboi. There aren't many producers and DJs who marry the paranoid and the psychedelic, the euphoric and the illicit, the darkroom and the big room, the mind and the body, like Coffintexts. As a producer, she's just as comfortable turning out lean and stripped back techno as she is sultry, bottom-heavy downtempo with occasional partner-in-crime Jonny from Space. Her DJing is just as adventurous. Her mixes for outlets like Crack and Mixmag showcase an ambitious and daring style where she jumps between tempos, eras, and genres without ever losing sight of that central current of hip-swinging groove. It's this intuitive and bodily approach to mixing that has kept dancefloors from Miami to Shanghai to Bristol, from Nowadays to III Points Festival to Razzmatazz gyrating and sweating it out until the early hours.Their RA profile lists Omnidisc, Femme Culture, Black Book Records, Club Qu and 4 more.Recently at BASEMENT, Nowadays, H0l0 Yard · often with Josey Rebelle, Mari Sakurai, ROBUS, none of them here that night

Heavily influenced by innovators such as Throbbing Gristle and Floorplan, their productions encapsulated sounds that were inspired by the UK and Detroit, and were complimented with live spoken word. After moving to Berlin in 2016, they transitioned from performance art to DJing, where their sets on HÖR facilitated their breakthrough as a DJ. Having drawn inspiration from early industrial and techno pioneers, x3butterfly’s sets retain a raw and ominous quality, with a club twist. Prioritizing the eclectic, they often aim to take listeners on a story-telling journey while simultaneously keeping them on the dance floor. Their sets combine jungle, drum and bass, R&B, dubstep, techno, and other world sounds at 140-160 BPM. x3butterfly has played in various clubs in Mexico, Germany, Denmark, Greece, as well as a multitude of cities in the US. They have quickly become a rising NYC star, DJing notorious NYC venues such as Bossa Nova, Mood Ring, and Nowadays. “Second Contact is a New York City–based DJ and collaborator whose driving force behind the decks feels like seduction through control.”

Second Contact is a New York City–based DJ and collaborator whose driving force behind the decks feels like seduction through control. His practice lives in the charged space between discipline and abandon, shaped by a shared dialogue and individual instinct. Moving fluidly between downtempo, dark wave, EBM, and progressive trance, his sets unfold in long, deliberate arcs that privilege tension, texture, and trust. Rather than overwhelm a room, Second Contact cultivates atmosphere. His selections linger, tease, and breathe, inviting dancers inward while leaving space for unpredictability. This same sensibility extends beyond the decks, ruled by a deep desire to cultivate community, draw inspiration from the unlikeliest of places, and build something from nothing through exchange rather than ego. His approach favors intimacy over spectacle and curiosity over dominance; his DJ sets result in a physical, quietly sinister, and visceral atmosphere designed not to command attention but to hold space and engage in play. Stepping away from any spectacle, Second Contact plays with the uninhibited, open-minded queerdos and freaks; an intimate tremble that demands total surrender from those who’d rather be lost in the secret than found in the light. Second Contact believes the most powerful moments on a dance floor come from anticipation. His approach is rooted in restraint, timing, and emotional intelligence, letting desire accumulate before release. His sets ask for patience and, in turn, reward surrender; slowly, but surely, creating spaces where dancers feel held, challenged, and quietly undone. Over the past few years, Second Contact has become a familiar presence in New York City’s most respected rooms, including Nowadays, Mansions, Nightmoves, Bossa Nova Civic Club, and Good Room. Internationally, his sound has carried to adventurous and discerning dance floors across Europe and beyond, including Sameheads, Salon des Amateurs, Post Bar, as well as scenes in Tbilisi, Georgia and Mexico City, where he operates in the high-stakes gap between discipline and abandon for the those who celebrate openness and risk and welcome the pursuit of creativity and expression instead of the easily digestible and familiar. As Honey Trap mainstay and resident, he shapes the cadence with a patient hand whether setting the tone at the opening doors or driving the final hours at close. His sound at Honey Trap leans into the series’ core–synth lust, hot tracks–bringing the dancefloor into a place of shared trust and communal rapture. Second Contact’s long-form sensibility extends naturally into radio with his guest mixes appearing on well-regarded The Lot Radio, Kiosk Radio, and Mutant Radio.Recently at Signal, Outer Heaven, Danger Danger · often with Amelia Holt, Miles Mercer, Simic, none of them here that night
