Pauli Cakes is a New York born and based sound curator known for bringing people together and getting them moving. The DJ, community organizer, spirit raiser, performer, multi-faceted artist and founder of collectives DiSCAKES and xCAKES is an unmistakable figure in New York's underground queer rave scene. They've made a heartfelt impact on the nightlife circuit with their iconic raves, musical influence, organizing work, contributions to harm reduction and efforts to raise thousands of dollars for bail out organizations such as F2L, Black and Pink and The Friendly Commisary Fund and independent initiatives such as the COVID19 RELEIF FUND and various fundraisers for Queer New Yorkers in need. Pauli believes that limitations and binaries can be transcended through music, communion and creative expression. Pauli’s sets have been described as a “break neck wonderland” and a "Spirit Raising Journey Through Sound". Their sound is a high energy, genre bending experience filled with sonic eclecticism and colorful sound adopted from their stomping grounds of NYC.Recently at Bossa Nova Civic Club, Oberon, Mood Ring · often with Xana 101, SKIN CONTACT, Vice, none of them here that night

Papi Weli was raised in a community where Baile Funk, Pagode, and Samba can be heard all day at every corner. This helped shape his DJ career which started in 2014. He has been heard on many stages in New York such as Apollo Theater, Baby's All Right, Bossa Nova, Brooklyn Monarch, Chocolate Factory, Elsewhere, Kinfolk, SOB's, Sonny Hall, The Sultan Room, Trans-Pecos, and more. He has also played in cities including São Paulo, Boston, Philadelphia, San Francisco and D.C. In addition to his large knowledge of Baile Funk culture, Papi Weli is not afraid of mixing different music genres and featuring newly released music during his sets. He is always focused on lifting up the energy on the dance floor. Outside of the booth, he has also modeled for brands such as Adidas, Willy Chavarria, and Materiel Supply. He has also starred in campaigns for Major League Soccer, Red Bull New York and Goma Studios. Papi Weli is also the heart behind the creative production of Foreign Posse, a crew formed by immigrants and first generation Americans.Recently at SISTEM, The Chocolate Factory, Bossa Nova Civic Club · often with Meia Noite, Kamikaze, Embaci, none of them here that night

Oakland’s Lil Zé (@aquanettalashangelaboo) arrived from space bringing along with them sounds from across the universe and the African and Black diaspora. Heavy drums, vocal chants, loud energy, are both the destination and the journey - making it impossible not to move to her genre-defying music history lessons. Catch her mixing on Lower Grand Radio, Fault Radio or listen back to her mixes for NTS, Dublab, Cult Classic, Balamii Radio.Recently at Selva NYC, SOBs, Honey's · often with Meia Noite, DJ Guari, Swaya, none of them here that night
