Goldcap's (Berge Sahakian) roots in music are based in an eclectic pool of genres since his earliest ages. Listening to everything from classic rock, traditional indian, orchestra, and reggae, to classical, metal, west-african, and middle-eastern styles of music. From youth, having picked up instruments like the electric/acoustic guitar, bass guitar, classical piano, and various different percussive instruments, it was only natural for him to incorporate an organic feel into his musical selections. Also being a fan of poetry, films, ambient sounds, traditional instruments, and the spoken word, you will often find him incorporating an eclectic array of samples into his sets.Their RA profile lists Underyourskin records, Cenote Records and Sol Selectas.Recently at The Ornate Studio, 100 Sutton Studios, The Penthouse NYC · often with Sky So Young, Klangkarussell, Lemurian, none of them here that night

David “DAVI” Khanjian grew up listening to classic sounds of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and the likes. Discovering his passion for music from an early age, he was subsequently admitted to the Vocal Department of Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory. David's immigration to Los Angeles expanded his horizons in music. Focusing on production of genre defying electronic music, David’s sound can best be described as deeply melodic journey into the mind that can leave you whiplashed much like a rollercoaster. As the vibrant strings of acoustic guitar resonate over thick bass lines, you can feel a warm glow in your heart, interrupted only by an occasional conga riff. His dj sets leave one standing drenched in sweat, completely exhausted from the satisfaction of losing yourself in the dark beats and the lush melodies. With releases on Crosstown Rebels, All Day I Dream, Rebellion, his name is now instantly recognizable among the world of spinning producers who globe trot his compositions to be dropped on every conceivable audience.Their RA profile lists Crosstown Rebels, Treibstoff Recordings, Toolroom Records, Kindisch Records and 6 more.Recently at Bogart House, 563 Johnson Ave Floor 2, Brooklyn, NY 11237, Gaia Nomaya · often with Souleca, Gavin Stephenson, Iman Rizky, none of them here that night

Let’s start by saying this is not about becoming a DJ, this is a true love story that starts out in the early 1990’s with a boy who grew up in Miami Beach and instantly fell for electronic music just as the house scene was beginning to explode. In 1999, Rick Rosa relocated to NYC, where the nineteen-year-old learned the real definition of house music at Danny Tenaglia’s Be Yourself Party at the former Club Vinyl. His bold style of heavy percussions, tribal grooves and marathon sets would go on to be the inspiration for Rick, in the same way, that DJ Larry Levan's boundary less sets at the infamous Paradise Garage inspired Tenaglia himself. With his passionate and uplifting personality, Rick is a successful real estate entrepreneur in NYC by day while remaining part of the house scene at night. Enjoying being a spectator for decades, he never imagined standing behind the DJ booth. That all changed in 2015 while he was trying to find a way to creatively express himself from a pure place. It was then he discovered a true blessing, a hidden talent of making music. Today, Rick can be found performing at underground parties throughout Brooklyn and New York City not for the fame and glory, as an outlet to share his unfiltered art with people who also genuinely love house music. A true melodic story teller, each Rick Rosa set takes you through his deep, tribal, sexy sound journey.Recently at Arlo Williamsburg, Moonrise, ARTSPACE · often with MoBlack, Dean Mickoski, Zente, none of them here that night

“Born and raised in Tokyo, Alice Iguchi is a DJ currently based in Brooklyn, New York.”

the whole biography
Born and raised in Tokyo, Alice Iguchi is a DJ currently based in Brooklyn, New York. After arriving in 2015, Alice found a sense of belonging in the underground house and techno music scene in New York City. Her foray with DJing began in 2017, and music has since become her international language of choice, expressed through an eclectic fusion of sounds. Alice recounts that her first recognition of music as a child was listening to jazz in her father’s car in Japan. As she developed her own tastes in music as a teenager, she ventured into playing guitar for a Tokyo rock band. At age 19, Alice’s musical influences expanded to artists who experimented with electronic elements like Radiohead, Bjork, and Massive Attack. When she started exploring other countries at 20, Alice became exposed to the international world of house and techno music. Additionally, the sounds that made an impression on her then and continue to inspire her now include percussive instruments from street performers that she encountered throughout her travels. As a DJ today, Alice has established a distinct sound rooted in her Japanese origins layered with the musical influences that she has amassed from the various stages of her life. The signature aspects of her music cleverly blend oriental tones, jazz-infused grooves, and organic percussion, at times with intentionally placed vocal hooks. Alice has an incredible ability to take her audience on a mesmerizing curated journey, be it with vibrant house, driving melodic techno, or deep sultry tunes suited for daytime, nighttime, or afterhours. In 2018, Alice established a residency at Do Not Sit On The Furniture while living in Miami and also performed at numerous events during Art Basel Miami and Miami Music Week. Upon moving back to Brooklyn in 2019, she has regularly been invited to play at New York City’s iconic clubs like the Brooklyn Mirage, House of Yes, and Elsewhere. Alice has performed at renowned global venues such as the main stage of the Brooklyn Mirage in New York City, Flash in DC, Womb in Tokyo, and the infamous Sisyphos in Berlin. She has shared the stage with Bob Moses, Guy Gerber, DJ Tennis, Maceo Plex, Joris Voorn, Rodriguez Jr., Einmusik, Blondish, Matthias Meyer, and Francesca Lombardo, among other notable artists. During 2023, Alice toured through Asia and made appearances in certain European cities, broadening the reach of her original sound and continuing to stir up the underground electronic music scene around the world.Recently at House of Yes, Signal, Superior Ingredients · often with Laura Lynn, Ksenyeah, Philou, none of them here that night
