Will Jack is a PNW-born, Brooklyn-based DJ, producer, and promoter whose work has made a lasting impact on queer and underground dance floors on both coasts. First emerging from Portland, OR as the figurehead behind the influential Switch Dance Party. Will Jack played a role in elevating a wave of Portland's transgressive queer performance spaces through an emphasis on intentional curation, community, and ritual. Switch has hosted a wide range of forward-thinking artists cementing its reputation as a vital cultural moment and in recent years has seen the likes of artists such as Kevin Aviance, Vander Von Odd, Volvox, Aurora Halal, Sharlese, SPRKLBB, Ariel Zetina and more. After relocating to New York City with a singular focus on nightlife, Will Jack became deeply embedded in Brooklyn’s DIY ecosystem. Working behind the scenes with the UNTER collective as a producer honed his attention to detail and respect for dance floor dynamics, while countless warehouse and club nights refined his sensibility as a selector. He now co-runs the popular DIY afters series TOSSD alongside Giovannii, another influential figure out of Portland, where he serves as both resident and a creative production force. With residency at both TOSSD and Brooklyn’s ANIMAL, Will Jack stretches across a wide range of selections and approaches DJing as a contextual and narrative-driven practice. His sound centers groove, mystery, and sex appeal—drawing from New York and Chicago House, Detroit Techno, Acid, Electro, and Psychedelic textures—always with a percussive-forward pulse designed to move mind, body, and spirit. Known for extended sets that unfold patiently, his performances balance hedonism with intention, treating raving as ritual. When Carly Zeng DJs, it’s highly unlikely she’ll do the same thing twice. Chinese-born and now Berlin-based, she has formed quite the community in her chosen city through her party, Dissident, which fosters a nurturing approach to music discovery. Her long love affair with vinyl-focused digging is no secret. And the ripple effects of such veracious collecting can be heard in the way she weaves together the many genres that she likes–be it a trippy tribal or prog track with a weird structure or an off-kilter sound effect in a punchy house tune – she’s forever on the lookout for tracks with that little extra spice. Carly’s entry point into dance music in NYC, led her into smaller parties, DIY spaces and warehouse raves and the community spirit she found there is something she still carries with her today. A known name within Berlin’s queer music scene, she is regularly billed at parties such as Cocktail D’Amore and Body Language. Whether as a DJ, community organizer or dancer on the floor, Carly is staunchly attentive to her role within the dance music ecosystem and how to best curate a warming experience for everyone involved. THC’s sets are kinetic, propulsive in this way. High-energy without a loss of soul, hard-hitting and still very playful and very gay. We are reminded that techno need not be a gloomy, rumbling march, and that house has a whole range of attitudes at the same time ruthless and smiling. She blazes, to put it simply. Having heated Berlin dancefloors and airwaves for a few years, THC is one of the founders and resident at La Noche. She has her own show HOT BOX on Rinse FM, and has released mixes via Crack Magazine, DJ Mag, Fact Mag and NTS. The last year has also seen her playing alongside her sibling DHC as the duo unit S-candalo.
