    their own biography

    the whole biography
Jeffrey Sfire is originally from suburban Detroit, where he was introduced to underground dance music and illegal warehouse parties as a teenager in the 90's. This escape from suburbia led him to the dancefloors of the city’s most talented DJs and musicians, who soon exposed him to a new culture of creative riches. Learning by example, Sfire’s taste and skills as a DJ developed naturally and he soon began playing out at parties, clubs and sleazy gay afterhours, entering covertly through back doors or with a fake ID. At the age of 18, a move to Chicago led Sfire to a whole other side of dance music history, including the Italo Disco and High Energy sounds of the 1980s. He spent afternoons digging through record store crates, meeting retired DJs and developing his musical palette. Jeffrey’s style is absolutely unique and clearly tied to the roots of his midwest upbringing and he can be found working the floor out with italo, high nrg, chicago house, and everything WBMX. Having held numerous club residencies, he regularly plays in LA, Detroit, Chicago, and New York, consistently offering a finely-tuned selection at clubs like Basement and Nowadays in NY, Panoramabar Berlin, and Hot Mass in Pittsburgh. He also has a hand in producing parties such as Detroit's infamous Movement weekend queer rager, Club Toilet, and collaborating with Justin Cudmore on a new monthly Sunday party at Signal (NY). Jeffrey is also a gifted producer and one half of production projects: Sfire (with Sophie), Looky Looky, and Pushing Movies with releases on labels such as Dark Entries, Cocktail D’Amore Music and Ultramajic, while his mixes have long been prized for their depth and quality and are often featured as RA mix of the day.
House on 6, Deep House on 4, Synth-pop on 4 and New Wave on 3. styles on their catalogued releases

“Justin's coming-of-age as a fan and creator of dance music took place amidst the wide expanses of central Illinois.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Justin's coming-of-age as a fan and creator of dance music took place amidst the wide expanses of central Illinois. As a kid growing up in the state’s tucked-away capital of Springfield, he played drums as a jazz percussionist in school. While most of his peers were tuned into pop music, Justin was wearing out self-made mixes and classic disco compilations, workshopping new-wave influenced beats in bands and DJing college parties. A post-graduation move to Chicago led him to work for the influential dance music blog Little White Earbuds, opening him up to fully experience the city’s thriving underground house and techno scene. A Midwest-born and raised DJ, Justin has played at queer parties such as Wrecked, The Carry Nation, Horse Meat Disco, Honcho, and Club Toilet, and has gained a following all over the world with appearances at clubs like Smartbar Chicago, Panorama Bar, Is Burning Amsterdam, Razzmatazz Barcelona, DC10 and Lux Fragil. His bold, acid-flecked distillation of house and techno has found a home on the labels that are helping to shape the current landscape of transgressive body music, including The Bunker New York, Detroit’s Interdimensional Transmissions, and Honey Soundsystem Records. Justin's sound is defined by snaking acid lines, whip smart drums and offbeat rave melodies that have resonated with DJs and dancers from Detroit to Berlin. He has been featured in mixes for series such as Beats In Space, Truants, MixMag, Phantasy and The Bunker New York’s long-running podcast.
Techno on 23, House on 20, Tech House on 10 and Acid on 9. styles on their catalogued releases
Released on Acid For Trans Health (1), Spotlight Records (1) and The Night Institute (1); their RA profile also lists Turbo Recordings, Hotflush Recordings, Interdimensional Transmissions, Phonica White and 6 more. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profile

    “Makadsi continues to impress.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Makadsi continues to impress. This Brooklyn-based DJ/Producer, hailing from Zahle Lebanon, owns the underground scene with his signature sound merging Arabic influences over cross-genre sets. He is a resident and co-founder of FUNCTION, a space where he has cultivated a dance floor that honors the natural, vibrant diversity of New York City. NY’s BASEMENT dubbed Makadsi as the “rave activator”. 2025 saw Makadsi deepen his footprint across Europe. He returned to Glastonbury for a second year, this time on the IICON stage, and debuted at Horst Arts & Music Festival in Belgium. Summer took him from Honey Dijon's Chinois in Ibiza to Geggen x Pornceptual for Berlin Pride, Body Movements in London, the main stage at Madrid's MADO Pride, and Adonis for London Pride. French-German network ARTE profiled him for their Tracks series, spotlighting how he threads Arabic divas through techno beats. Back stateside, he played in the iconic Texas room for the 4th Annual Wire Festival in Brooklyn, NY further cementing his role in the heart of the city's underground. 2024 was no less impressive, with Makadsi’s debuts in Ibiza at Palmarama, Glastonbury Festival's iconic NY Downlow stage, Berlin's Pornceptual, Honey Dijon’s House Nation in Brooklyn, and NITSA's 30th birthday in Barcelona. 2023 was nothing short of monumental for Makadsi, taking FUNCTION on the road alongside Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour. As the Creative Director and architect for the Renaissance album and Renaissance World Tour, he booked opening DJ acts featuring familiar darlings of the Queer Underground scene (Arca, Shygirl, and more). He ended the tour with his own opening set for Beyoncé's last show in Kansas City. Topping off the year, Makadsi opened for Madonna’s Celebration Tour in Brooklyn.

    the whole biography
Will Jack is a PNW-born, Brooklyn-based DJ, producer, and promoter whose work has made a lasting impact on queer and underground dance floors on both coasts. First emerging from Portland, OR as the figurehead behind the influential Switch Dance Party. Will Jack played a role in elevating a wave of Portland's transgressive queer performance spaces through an emphasis on intentional curation, community, and ritual. Switch has hosted a wide range of forward-thinking artists cementing its reputation as a vital cultural moment and in recent years has seen the likes of artists such as Kevin Aviance, Vander Von Odd, Volvox, Aurora Halal, Sharlese, SPRKLBB, Ariel Zetina and more. After relocating to New York City with a singular focus on nightlife, Will Jack became deeply embedded in Brooklyn’s DIY ecosystem. Working behind the scenes with the UNTER collective as a producer honed his attention to detail and respect for dance floor dynamics, while countless warehouse and club nights refined his sensibility as a selector. Known for extended sets that unfold patiently, his performances balance hedonism with intention, treating raving as ritual. Will Jack has played at spaces such as NYC's Basement/Studio, Seattle's Massive, San Francisco's Power House, and iconic underground parties including Unter, F*ggots Are Women, Mizz Softee, TOSSD and more.
