Pure Immanence is the collaborative conceptual DJ project of Nick Bazzano and Kiddo Sincere. In their performances, Pure Immanence seeks to activate a sonic plane of consistency that evokes multiple musical atmospheres and genres, from techno to ambient, to house, trance, progressive, experimental, and beyond. This is an experiment using sound to gain access to psychedelic intensities and affective potentials immanent to the act of listening and dancing to music together. Pure Immanence has held a well-received eponymous monthly Wednesday-night residency at Bossa Nova Civic Club since 2016. Pure Immanence is also associated with the Unter collective, having performed as residents and having curated ambient programming for their various underground queer rave projects for years. Pure Immanence is proud to have collaborated with and performed at many notable nightclubs, raves, festivals, and events both in the states and abroad, including Whole Festival (Germany), Buttons (://aboutblank, Berlin), secondnature (Seattle), multiple appearances at both Sustain-Release (NY) and Fourth World (NYC), and many others.Recently at Signal, Qncc, Trans-Pecos · often with Shyboi, WAREHOUSE, Music, none of them here that night

Childhood friends with Iraqi and Maltese lineage, the duo and their legacy building Butter Sessions label have ushered in a new era, sensibility and productivity to the city that raised them. A defiantly DIY two-man assembly line, Maryos Syawish and Corey Kikos have issued a steady stream of diverse records on their own imprint, as well as on like-minded international outposts Incienso, Planet Euphorique and Cocktail d'Amore. Releasing ‘Rebel Force’ in 2019 and ‘Electronic Arts’ in 2023, their albums bind a singular take on mutated house, bush doof, dub techno and downtempo, while their composition and production capacity has also been augmented via 2021’s chamber orchestra collaboration ‘Flashed Glass’ and the rescored film soundtracks for ‘Eraserhead’ and ‘Pan’s Labyrinth’.
