Tre D'Ambrocia arrived in New York City at the age of 17. While studying for a degree in theatre, Tre moved to the heart of the East Village on St Marks Place and 2nd Avenue. There he would spend evenings out at queer venues like The Hose, Eastern Bloc, and The Cock where his love and devotion of New York City nightlife was born. During his time studying for his masters degree in music at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, Tre toured with his band, The Means of Production (Colemine Records/RPF Records). On a New York leg of a tour in 2015 he met the program director for a Brookyln-based independent radio station, The Face Radio, where he would go on to produce and co-host with DJ Eugene Tambourine (aka North Satellite) and later DJ Gant Johnson Yes She Did, a weekly show interviewing luminaries in nightlife and music including Michael Musto, Kevin Aviance, and Barbara Tucker. In that time Tre and Gant Johnson enjoyed several residencies as Yes She Did, most notably at the historic Henrietta Hudson in The West Village, and The Exley in Williamsburg. In 2025 Tre, DJs Niyah West and theoretic joined forces and co-founded The Queer Vinyl Collective, a salon style function that aims to evoke the spirit and style of New York City's early days of nightlife. As a producer, Tre has released over a dozen edits and remixes (as Yes She Did and TD Edits, Inc), with his most recent release, "Remixes Nobody Asked For Vol. 1," due out later this year.Recently at Oberon · often with theoretic, Niyah West, VARSHA, none of them here that night
