IMOGEN channels dystopian electro, rumbling bass, UK techno and choppy breaks, drawing influence from her storied years living in London while adding her own spiky twist to the darker-tinted tones of electronic music. Listening to The Prodigy and Stanton Warriors at home with her mum in Southampton sparked IMOGEN's interest in dance music. An underage raver at the time, she immersed herself in the scene, attending several house-led parties at her local club, Junk, before moving to London aged 16 to study Music Technology. Here, she learnt how to produce and DJ while cutting her teeth as a resident on Radar Radio. Featuring seminal guests like Ellen Allien and Umwelt, IMOGEN established her vision from day one. At just 18 years old, IMOGEN landed a booking at Berghain and has since evolved into the revered producer and DJ she is today. In 2022, Voitax released her debut solo EP What?, which Resident Advisor described as 'Fast, techno-infused electro from a rising star rapidly coming into her own.' Her track 'Up To No Good' garnered praise from industry and dance music lovers alike. Earlier releases include her debut tune 'Flesh' on Earwiggle in 2018, followed by Volts co-produced with Ben Pest. Her latest release dropped on Steel City Dance Discs this summer with a fusion of hefty breaks and four-to-the floor beats. The EP also includes a remix by Radioactive Man. Living in London allowed IMOGEN to soak up the city's rich club culture and finesse her craft. As a resident on NTS Radio, she regularly plays B2B with her favourite artists, including Helelna Hauff, Identified Patient and Clouds, this was recognised by BBC Radio One where IMOGEN just hosted her debut show on the station. A former resident of fabric, IMOGEN has supported artists across the electronic spectrum and has played throughout the UK, counting shows at Warehouse Project, The Beams and festivals Glastonbury and Junction 2. Sharing her sound in Europe, she's soundtracked Kraftwerk, Herrensauna, MELT festival, Awakenings and many more. During the pandemic, IMOGEN explored ways to give back to the music community. She taught Music Production lessons via Zoom, sharing knowledge in an accessible, friendly environment. This led her to launch Wigs, an inclusive platform and party series that facilitates workshops and provides a hub for aspiring artists to connect. IMOGEN curates Wigs events with the same forward-thinking approach, breaking the circuit of tried and tested lineups and showcasing new names on the night. The first event kicked off in fabric as part of the club's 24-hour Continuum series. Since then, IMOGEN has taken Wigs across the UK and Europe featuring Aquarian, Daria Kolosova and Bjarki. This winter sees the birth of Wigs as a record label alongside more sold out shows across the globe. A multi-disciplined artist, IMOGEN is a member of T.I.P. aka TripSixVivo, IMOGEN and Paàl. Together, the trio in corporate live producing and MCing, creating a hybrid of electro, grime, drum'n'bass and techno. Their debut EP Neosynthesis displayed their intricate dynamic and rugged aesthetic. Entering the next phase of her non-conformist career, IMOGEN's skill, dedication and grounded attitude are reflected across all of her projects, making her a vital talent in today's electronic realm.Their RA profile lists fabric Records, Earwiggle, VOITAX and Steel City Dance Discs.Recently at Good Room, Nowadays, Paragon · often with GLOBUS, TRESOR, Madalba, none of them here that night

“From a young age, Lorenzo Lacchesi was immersed in music.”
their own biography
the whole biography
From a young age, Lorenzo Lacchesi was immersed in music. Growing up surrounded by CDs, thanks to his parents working at Philips, he explored everything from rock to jazz and classical. As a teenager, he studied piano, played bass in various bands, and discovered electronic music at 15, drawn by the French Touch movement. After high school, Lorenzo pursued sound engineering, worked at Radio France, and co-founded his first techno label, Péché Mignon, with friends. Becoming Lacchesi, his focus shifted to warehouse techno. His first major bookings came through the Parisian scene where he refined his industrial and rave-influenced sound. During this period, he co-founded his second label, Maison Close, a platform for emerging talent with an eclectic and hybrid musical vision. Lacchesi’s sound balances minimalist techno with trance, taking cues from artists like Regent, The Advent, Mathys Lenne, Rrose, Helena Hauff, Spekki Webu, W92. Known for his fast-paced, high-energy DJ sets, he crafts introspective journeys with jittery melodies, minimal grooves, and experimental elements. His productions, however, span a broader spectrum, from hard-hitting techno and uptempo beats to glitchy IDM and ambient soundscapes. Lacchesi has released music on labels like Mama Told Ya, EXTRA ENERGY, Matière, BCCO, and Bipolar Disorder. His own label, Maison Close, has seen him release tracks on various compilations, as well as two LPs: P*NK (2021) and Based On A True Story (2024). He remains a prominent figure in the scene, consistently surrounded by close-knit circle of friends like Mac Declos, Kuss, and more recently, Vel. His standout remix of Baraka’s track «Half Faces» has racked up nearly 2M listens. In early January 2026, he released the split EP High & Dry with close collaborator JKS, jointly issued on Maison Close Records and Smile Sessions. 2025 marked a pivotal year, with Lacchesi touring extensively across the globe and performing at major festivals including Monegros, Pitch, ADE – Into the Woods, Nuits Sonores… Following a widely acclaimed SECTION mix, he was also announced as a resident DJ for London’s Tech Couture parties. Lacchesi’s love for loops and his relentless pursuit of harmony drive his high-octane, multigenre sets. Known for creating intense, rollercoaster-like journeys, he builds tension to the point where the body can’t take it anymore, only to offer a full, euphoric release. His performances are wild and fiery, embodying his Mediterranean energy, Italian temperament, and playful humor. Curious about everything (people, sounds, and experiences), he brings an infectious energy to the club, leaving the dance floor in a frenzy. Lacchesi thrives on resilience, laughter, and sweat, always pushing the limits to deliver unforgettable moments.Their RA profile lists Bipolar Disorder, Mama told ya, KR Records, EXTRA ENERGY and 1 more.Recently at Refuge, BASEMENT · often with Laure Croft, Nene H, Elvin, none of them here that night
