From 2009 on, Rampa made a name of himself through Keinemusik, his own little d.i.y.-cosmos, being not only label, but also crew of likeminded DJs, producers and friends. The teamwork within this realm has seen a serious number of productions and collaborations, particularly with fellow producer &ME, not to forget the rest of the bunch, Adam Port, Reznik and Monja. Besides, he’s got an array of other collaborations and releases under his belt, put out on imprints like Cocoon, Innervisions, Strictly Rhythm, Kompakt, 2020 Vision, Freerange, Bpitch Control, Diynamic or Crosstown Rebels. The events of the last few years have seen Rampa focussing more and more on the production side of things, be it studio work or the inauguration of his TEILE project – his own company to produce and distribute analogue effects, custom built for DJ-purposes. Certainly also an outlet for a slight nerdism, that includes not only studio gear, but instruments in general. Chances are you’ll find him in the studio, swinging the drumstick or banging on some bongos. When it comes to DJing itself, he is going for a less is more approach these days, choosing bookings and playing more consciously.Their RA profile lists Defected Records, Cocoon Recordings, Get Physical Music, International DeeJay Gigolo Records and 6 more.Recently at Pacha New York, Brooklyn Storehouse, Flushing Meadows Corona Park · often with &ME, Map.ache, Carlita, none of them here that night

Beyond extensive touring as an international DJ and music producer, her research work explores how cultures - including her own Chinese heritage and Latin American influences - enrich one another. Having grown up in a culturally vibrant environment, her upbringing fuels her passion for challenging stereotypes and promoting inclusion within the music industry. Leading the Canton Mambo 曼波 project (@cantonmambo), Gia Fu dedicates herself to bridging cultural divides, embracing diversity through research, cultural & dance events, and music. This initiative creates an all-inclusive space where diverse cultural elements harmonize, fostering unity through the arts. Her upcoming single, "Canton Mambo," blends her native musical instrument Guzheng with salsa rhythms, introducing an exciting fusion sound for the genre. In the year 2021, Gia demonstrated her versatility by producing a captivating big-band Salsa album for Grammy-nominated artist Angel Meléndez. This project involved collaboration with 30 musicians spanning various age groups, from their 20s to their 70s. More recently, Gia performed at the Bulova product-launch event during the Latin Grammys in Las Vegas. In Hong Kong, she played the Clockenflap Festival, as well as the official InterMiami Pre-Party for special guests Lionel Messi, David Beckham and other luminaries of the soccer world. Also in Hong Kong, Gia curated the music for the after party of Louis Vuitton Men’s Pre-Fall Show, hosted by Pharrell Williams. She was the featured opening act in Miami during Marc Anthony’s VIVIENDO Tour in 2023. In early 2024, Gia achieved major success with her sold-out, four-city tour in Mexico as a headline artist & DJ. As her star continues to rise, we will be hearing much more from this powerhouse performer and curator of music and culture. Born and raised in Queens, a city dweller and a club kid, Kilopatrah has an innate and superlative gift for transferring energy from the booth to the dance floor—through exciting house, techno, and jungle, and moments that both harken to Sound Factory–era glory days and bring you to sweaty BPMs of the future. Their sets are palpably personal: The dance floor has always been a powerful platform for expression for Kilo, once as a freeing and connecting space for a quiet house dancer and now as one for moving others like them. When Kilo gets going, you’ll lose sense of the kick drum versus the beat of your own body against the floor. That’s a gift from them to you, and your percussion is a gift back to them. Kilo brings their energetic sass to a monthly Lot Radio residency and to parties with impressive lineups, playing alongside Todd Terry home in New York, at the legendary Movement weekend Club Toilet in Detroit, and for Boiler Room. Their mixes, for series such as Coloring Lessons, Honcho, and Juanita’s, and for spots on Rinse and Refuge, also capture the club at its most euphoric. You’ll step a little harder with Kilopatrah Jones. Words by Sacha MadadianRecently at Signal, H0L0, Refuge · often with Mike Servito, Dee Diggs, Annie Lew, none of them here that night
