Who they are
“ameera is a vinyl dj based in Detroit. she is shaped by sound— rooted in the black musical traditions + the history of Detroits musical lineage; ameera spins an eclectic blend of genres guided by soul, rhythm, and self-reflection to create a new mix of nostalgic sounds. a living archive of sound, where melodies shine and are a direct reflection of her life experiences-- past, present + future... sets unfold with intention, prioritizing warmth, pacing, and connection over spectacle. they operate in a space where feeling leads selection and sharing frequencies becomes a tool for care.”
