Antsy? Dance-deprived? Holding onto that last crumb of serotonin? We have a party for that.
Liminal Collective presents: Groove Therapy, an immersive night of dark, groovy, and psychedelic dance music, clinically formulated to restore the heart, body + mind.
Leading the session is the renowned Dr. Strangefunk, hailing from Montreal, whose infectious blend of driving grooves, hypnotic textures, and playful psychedelic energy has been healing dancefloors across the globe.
Assisting in your treatment are Liminal Collective co-founders Chillosophy and baby-g, who will guide you through every stage of the evening, from opening dose to final release. Patients can expect a carefully administered progression through deep, hypnotic, and peak-time sounds spanning cutting-edge "research techno" and psy-tech.
Side effects may include: prolonged dancing, elevated mood, temporary loss of concept of time, and a persistent desire for "one more track." In some cases, patients have reported full-body euphoria and an inability to leave the dancefloor.
Treatment takes place in a warehouse loft nestled in the heart of Bushwick's industrial zone — outfitted with comfy seating, an adjoining rooftop, and refreshment lounges for between-session recovery.
No appointment necessary. Walk-ins welcome. Relief is one bassline away.

the whole biography
In 2019, baby-g’s burning daydream of commanding her own dance floor left her no option but to take a chance. Her story blends an obsession with eclectic sounds, a previous life as a trained dancer, and desire to connect. In her music, a story of determination and scratching away can be heard - it’s music that hits the spot. Today, she’s tucked into the depths of Brooklyn’s underground spaces, opening for the likes of Sammy Legs, Tony Romera, Crusy, and Daniel Neuland, co-created the enigmatic DJ collective Liminal, and delved into production, with a few demo tracks in the works. baby-g has not only carved her own niche in respected spots like the Onyx room, Elsewhere, and Silo, but her efforts also continue to strengthen the local scene through collaborations or mentoring aspiring DJs. While some DJs offer escapism, baby-g’s music is for the here and now. With her confident, smooth brushes of groove, throbbing patterns of rhythm mixed with sassy vocals, her music demands attention. baby-g sways between a mix of styles such as minimal, peak time/driving, indie dance, and ketapop, but she is consistent in holding mood. A mood that carries unmistakable coolness, yet an inviting social experience to connect, bounce, and jam together. It seems that as long as baby-g keeps dreaming, the rhythm of her journey is equally worth moving along to, just as much as her dance floors.Recently at Jade, Superior Ingredients, Danger Danger · often with ACIDMOM, Zombi Adam, bad jasmine, none of them here that night
