“Joey found house music while attending college in Boston.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Joey found house music while attending college in Boston. Having grown up with drum circles on the beach of Cape Cod, he was drawn to the percussive rhythms and quickly began taking weekend trips to New York attending Vinyl/Arch, Limelight, Roxy, Twilo. After learning more about the relevance, culture, and history, he was inspired by a few friends who were DJs and returned to Boston with a couple turntables, a mixer and a bunch of vinyl. Joey worked as a sound engineer mixing down tracks with live bands and got gigs DJing at house parties and some local Boston nightclubs while finishing school. Before graduating, he was offered a position for a tech giant on the west coast, where he moved and lived for a decade. He never strayed too far from the music, getting booked for several red carpet and corporate events. It was while DJing an event celebrating the life of a friend back east, where Joey reconnected with close friends and made the decision it was time to come home. He moved back to NYC a year later and immersed himself in music again. Since being back, he’s played at several places in the city including the legendary Cielo NYC, The Phoenix, KeyBar and Nowhere Bar, and Le Bain at the Standard Hotel in Manhattan, a few after-hours spots in Brooklyn as well as Mainframe, a intimate monthly party that that has featured some of the hottest names in house music and techno for over 10 years. Most recently he has been playing monthly where he holds a residency at an Afterhours club called HOHN in Brooklyn. He also played at Sweet liberty in Miami Beach during Miami Music Week in 2024. He is also A resident and plays every year at the legendary Secrer Oasis party Which includes some of the hottest names in music and stretches all day into the night with the City skyline as your backdrop. It is held every June on Randall’s Island in New York City and in 2023, Joey played the last 3 hours closing out the party with his unique blend of beats and melodic sound.Recently at Randall's Island

“Born and raised in Italy, Dj Red is a key figure of the Roman techno scene.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Born and raised in Italy, Dj Red is a key figure of the Roman techno scene. Resident of the iconic Goa Club and its notorious party Ultrabeat, her contribution has been essential to the development of Rome’s club culture. Constantly travelling among Rome and Berlin over the past two decades, she has built up a unique approach to electronic music both as a producer and a performer. When in the DJ booth, DJ Red fully deploys her eccentric and multifaceted personality. From Berghain, Tresor to Awakenings and Exit Festival, she never fails to deeply connect with her audience. The manic perfection in selecting every single record and the commitment of her daily research makes it impossible not to be dragged by the intense, visionary techno sets. The thriving passion for music blossoms also in her productions. Intertwining dynamic rhythms arising of electronic drums, organic tonalities and esoteric machines, DJ Red gives birth to pitch black, aethereal, aqueous soundscapes that reach the very core of her listeners. Her discography counts releases on labels such as Electric Deluxe, Wolfskuil Records, BPitch Control and remixes from Ricardo Villalobos, Zeitgeber (Speedy J and Lucy) and Stanislav Tolkachev. DJ Red is a shimmering example of techno’s past, present and future -- a voice that continues to evolve alongside the genre she so proudly represents; time after time with each impressive performance.Their RA profile lists BPitch, Wolfskuil Records, Electric Deluxe, Unpolite and 1 more.Recently at Bogart House, Yummys Restaurant and Catering, Wonderville · often with Newa, Berghain, Freeka.tet, none of them here that night
