    the whole biography
Born and raised in Armenia, Viktor Vardanyan, known as Vard. (formerly Vrdnyn), discovered his passion for music at a young age. Influenced by legends like Barry White, Michael Jackson, and Jamiroquai, he began playing piano at seven and has been blending soul and electronic elements ever since. As a producer, he’s crafted records for rising artists such as Riovaz, Kanii, and Alyzée, while developing his own signature sound in house music. His breakout single Shoreditch cemented his deep house roots, earning him a rapidly growing audience and over 700,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. In November 2024, Vard. made his DJ debut at Elsewhere’s Zone One, delivering a dynamic two-and-a-half-hour set to 200 people. The success of that night fueled his passion for DJing, leading to more shows in New York, Miami, and Houston, with his first international performance coming in November at London’s iconic Jazz Cafe. Vard. is eager to connect with his evolving fanbase on more new dance floors around the world.
