FORMERLY KNOWN AS LETHAL TRIP, SHE BUILT HER NAME BY CURATING QPOC AND LGBTQ+ CENTERED RAVES THAT PUSHED BEYOND NIGHTLIFE INTO SITES OF RESISTANCE AND LIBERATION. HER UNCOMPROMISING DJ SETS;EQUAL PARTS CONFRONTATIONAL AND SEDUCTIVE,HAVE PLACED HER ALONGSIDE LSDXOXO, JULIANA HUXTABLE, AND JIMMY EDGAR, WITH APPEARANCES STRETCHING FROM MULTIPLE CITIES LIKE BERLIN, MONTREAL & OF COURSE NYC. AS A PROUD LATINA RASIED IN NEW JERSEY, GUILLOTINE GREW UP IN A HOUSEHOLD WHERE MUSIC WAS SACRED. IT WAS A DAILY ACT OF EXPRESSION, SURVIVAL AND JOY. THAT EARLY CONNECTION STILL FUELS HER WORK, BRIDGING PERSONAL HISTORY WITH COLLECTIVE LIBERATION. DURING THE PANDEMIC SHE JOINED THE ANONYMOUS COLLECTIVE SHLVES, STEPPING INTO THE ROLE OF SINGER-SONGWRITER WHILE CO-SCORING PETER DO’S SS23 SHOW, A TURN THAT MARKED HER EVOLUTION INTO COMPOSITION AND FASHION-WORLD COLLABORATION. IN 2025, GUILLOTINE’S TRAJECTORY INTERSECTED WITH ANNE IMHOF’S DOOM, CEMENTING HER AS A PRESENCE IN EXPERIMENTAL ART AND PERFORMANCE. HER DEBUT EP CHANNELS THAT HISTORY INTO SOMETHING STARKLY INTIMATE: MUSIC POISED BETWEEN CONTROL AND COLLAPSE, HAUNTED BY THEMES OF DEATH, IDENTITY, AND MENTAL FRACTURE. DRAWING FROM FILM, PERFORMANCE, AND MEMORY, SHE CONSTRUCTS A SONIC WORLD THAT FEELS BOTH VULNERABLE AND EXACTING;A MIRROR TO THE INTERIOR CHAOS BEHIND THE MYSTERY.Recently at Paragon, Signal, SISTEM · often with BASSBEAR!!, Lethal Trip, LISAS, none of them here that night
- Their RA profile lists Dissolute, welofi and Mechanical.
Recently at Mood Ring, Market Hotel, Paragon · often with Vitamin CJ, ysheso__, D4N, none of them here that night

From Paris and Berlin to Lisbon, Marrakech and Indonesia - Christian has paved his way around the world into the ranks of selectors ushering in the electronic renaissance you see here before you. With backgrounds in fashion, fine & culinary arts - Tokyo’s idea of a dance floor could be compared to a painting or a well plated dish. His sound is comprised of deep emotion & strategic choices ranging from velvety House to magnetic Techno, warped Breaks and all in between the spectrum of dance music. Christian Tokyo has graced all but a few clubs here in New York - from Bronx house parties to the edge of Ridgewood. Now retiring a 3 year long run of weekly parties at NYC’s cherished bar - Home Sweet Home; Tokyo moves on to focus his time and energy on playing in more countries, building a namesake party in NYC and releasing forthcoming independent projects of his own. Having already been featured on video & radio platforms (NTS, Rinse, Lot Radio etc.) and already performing alongside newer artists and classic NYC legends like the Bronx’s world renowned duo the Martinez Brothers and James Blake (to name a few) Tokyo continues to step forward as a premier selector in a new wave of DJs firmly taking up sonic arms to represent their hometowns. Being raised out of a musical household with mentors from iconic underground New York City parties and establishments from young (The Loft & Limelight) solidified Christian's interest and dedication to his role in continuing the history of dance music. Expanding community around dance music and holding space for new and older members is Tokyo’s ultimate goal and if you’ve been fortunate enough to make his acquaintance at least just once - one would fully understand. Head to his bandcamp and soundcloud and experience the sound at the links above!Recently at Le Bain, Mansions, Paragon · often with Vibeiana, America Rose, Lord Fascinator, none of them here that night
