    their own biography

    the whole biography
MEDUZA have spent the year leading the charge in returning house music to daytime radio, and succeeding. Their debut release, ‘Piece Of Your Heart’ featuring Goodboys, has now seen 600 million streams globally, selling a million units in the UK alone to date and peaking at #2 on the Official UK Charts. These incredible sales have given the Milan natives multi Diamond, Platinum and Gold certifications around the world. The follow up track ‘Lose Control’ with Goodboys and UK songwriter Becky Hill, has already made an unprecedented impact, reaching the UK Top40 in its first week, now notching upward of 50 million streams with 25 million YouTube views in just a month, and all the signs of matching or surpassing its predecessor. These headline successes are also bolstered by an impressive catalogue of hand picked remixes for the likes of MK, R+, Friendly Fires and Ritual, displaying not only Meduza’s signature sound and energy to the record, but also the raw ability to create a stand out release whenever called upon. Alongside various media and promotional appearances, the touring diary for Meduza shows an almost insatiable demand for the hottest act in dance music, with Fabric (London), Elrow, We Are Fstvl, TOFFLER (Rotterdam) and Warehouse Project (Manchester) to name but a few key venues and events scaling the globe from Europe, North and South America and Asia to seek out the signature soundtrack of the summer. Further tours of Australia, Europe, South America and the United States already crowd the upcoming diary for 2020 with Festival season promising to expose Meduza to millions of fans over summer.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
After starting out by composing music for several prestigious European theaters, Stephan Bodzin soon fell in love with nocturnal club sounds and began producing his own brand of techno. He impressed right from the off and has gone on to work with Marc Romboy many times, including on albums like “Luna” and more recently “Kerberos & Styx” in 2014, and with Oliver Huntemann under myriad aliases including Rekorder. The fruits of these labors have defined the modern techno scene until today. “Throughout my releases and all my collaborations I managed to let my ideas flow freely and to develop my own style,” Stephan Bodzin explains, and he proved that with 2007’s debut album, “Liebe Ist…” and the many other original productions that have followed, such as 2014’s single ‘Sungam’, which sat at number four on the RA charts, and his massive remix of Super Flu’s “Jo Gurt” in the same year. Stephan Bodzin productions are driving, hypnotic things with a very real and memorable sense of melody that sticks long in the mind. Of course, running his own Herzblut label has also defined his career since 2006, and as well as being a place for his own work, has also housed refreshing contemporary music from Dominik Eulberg, Max Cooper and Pig&Dan amongst many more. In the club, meanwhile, Stephan Bodzin is both a story telling DJ who really takes dance floors on a ride through his many musical influences, but is also an impressive live specialist who creates mesmerizing, high impact soundtracks on the fly. Across all continents, there is barely a club or festival in the world worth its salt that he hasn’t headlined at some point or other. 2015 will see this Bremen mastermind release his second full length, “Powers of Ten”, as well as a new single on DJ Tennis’ and Tale of Us’ taste making label Life & Death. The album is another magical piece of work that focuses on melody and rhythm, on fat bass and vivid sound design and is a truly captivating journey through the mind, music, body and soul of one of dance music’s truly modern greats. It is just the latest chapter in what has been an exhilarating musical journey in the capable and creative hands of Stephan Bodzin.
Their RA profile lists Systematic Recordings, Herzblut Recordings, Life and Death, Second State and 1 more.

“Long before garnering GRAMMY® Award nominations, performing to millions of fans on multiple continents, crashing charts worldwide, and tallying streams in the billions, artist, DJ, producer, and Swedish House Mafia Co-Founder Steve Angello realized his purpose as a kid in Sweden.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Long before garnering GRAMMY® Award nominations, performing to millions of fans on multiple continents, crashing charts worldwide, and tallying streams in the billions, artist, DJ, producer, and Swedish House Mafia Co-Founder Steve Angello realized his purpose as a kid in Sweden. With bulky headphones on, he sat in front of his record player and spun classics by Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Stevie Wonder, and Michael Jackson for hours on end, ultimately deciding, “I want to become a DJ.” “I knew what I wanted to do at ten-years-old,” he smiles. “I would save up all of my money from taking out the trash and doing chores to go to the record store and buy secondhand Zeppelin and Bob Marley albums—and anything Quincy Jones produced. I even bought a lot of albums based on the artwork, because it wasn’t like you could hear it before you bought it back then. Regardless, if it was American country, Swedish rock, or German punk, I would dig it, because I paid for it,” he laughs. “That’s how it started.” By the time he turned thirteen, Steve cut his teeth as a DJ, performing at summer basketball tournaments, and fueling the action with hip-hop breaks and no shortage of scratching. He honed his talents at scratch competitions around Sweden and produced original material. Early on, he collaborated with childhood friend Sebastian Ingrosso before launching his own label Size during 2003. He made waves internationally with a Remix of “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” by Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart in 2005. A year later, he teamed up with Axwell in Supermode, landing a hit with “Tell Me Why.” Iconic Size solo singles followed, namely “Gypsy,” “Isabel,” and “Flonko.” 2009 saw him link up with Laidback Luke for the mega-smash remix of the Robin S Classic “Show Me Love.” Around the same time, he joined forces with Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso to launch Swedish House Mafia. The group effectively took over the world. They notched back-to-back GRAMMY® nominations in the category of “Best Dance Recording” for the platinum “Save the World” in 2012 and quintuple-platinum “Don’t You Worry Child” in 2013. Building a catalog highlighted by global anthems such as the gold-certified “Greyhound” and “One (Your Name),” they simultaneously sold out legendary venues—including Milton Keynes Bowl and Madison Square Garden—and delivered historic sets at Coachella, Ultra Music Festival, and beyond. Following a five-year hiatus, they returned as surprise headliners at Ultra 2018 before embarking on the Save The World Reunion Tour across European. Rekindling their chemistry, they assembled what would become their long-awaited full-length debut, Paradise Again, in 2021. Landing in 2022, Paradise Again only extended the group’s legacy by cracking the Top 10 of seven global charts and capturing #1 on the Billboard Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart and #1 on the UK Dance Albums Chart with praise from Pitchfork, NME, and more. In tandem with the record, Swedish House Mafia headlined Coachella joined by The Weeknd for a groundbreaking show. Their smash “Moth To A Flame” graced both Paradise Again and Dawn FM on which the trio also contributed to “Sacrifice” and “How Do I Make You Love Me?” In between, Steve asserted himself as a force of nature solo. He occupied a spot on DJ Mag’s coveted “Top 100 DJs” list for fourteen consecutive years and received two DJ Awards. Not to mention, he has churned out official remixes for everyone from Justin Timberlake, Coldplay, and Depeche Mode to Fergie and Moby. Following his full-length debut Wild Youth, he ascended to another creative peak altogether on his sophomore offering, Human. Prior to officially sharing a note, he famously teased it during his famous Coachella 2017 set. A bold boundary-breaking body work, he widened the scope of the genre itself, collaborating with the likes of Bishop T.D. Jakes on “Rejoice,” Pusha T on “Freedom,” Barns Courtney on “Dopamine,” and more. Right out of the gate, Billboard hailed “the producer’s versatility and willingness to experiment,” and EDM Sauce christened it “His Magnum Opus.” “On Wild Youth, I talked about my childhood lyrically and musically,” he explains. “It was more melancholy. I had lived in Los Angeles for twelve years, but I brought my family back to Sweden. When I got into the studio, I said, ‘Fuck expectations. I’m not going to think about radio, playlists, or anything. I’m going to go in and make the album I want to make. I’m going to explore. I’m going to have fun’. That happened, and it became HUMAN. It’s a really proud moment for me.” However, it just paved the way for much more to come from Steve though. “I’ve been in this game for quite some time,” he leaves off. “Between doing Swedish House Mafia, we each evolved on our own. Now, it’s nice to push the needle and really be on the edge again together. That’s always exciting to me.””
Their RA profile lists Subliminal, Ministry Of Sound, Size Records, Refune Records and 5 more.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Members Jimmy Vallance and Tom Howie knew one another from the Vancouver high school they both attended and were drawn together thanks to a shared love of pop-punk bands like Rancid and Green Day. Adulthood found them both in Brooklyn, with Vallance recording Berlin-styled techno while Howie worked in the realm of the singer/songwriter. Both felt musically stuck and hungered for something new, a problem solved by the simple union of their styles, which created something cool and decidedly "post-club." Named after the urban planner who designed the modern New York City, they became Bob Moses and joined the Scissor & Thread label in 2012 with the EP Hand to Hold. The Far from the Tree EP followed on the label in 2013, then a year later the group released the First to Cry EP on Domino. In 2015, the label gathered up all the duo's early EPs for the compilation All in All and also released their debut album, Days Gone By.

When it comes to Tripolism, their rise in the electronic music world feels both organic and undeniably exciting. Emerging from Copenhagen, this trio has been carving their path with a sound that effortlessly blends house, disco, and techno, marked by their signature grooves, vocals, and a certain understated cool. Tripolisms' journey began to gain serious momentum in 2023 with the release of their unforgettable single Dope Dance on Ultra Records—one of the scene’s biggest hits of the year – arguably the standout track. Crowned Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune and later featured in his Top 5 Essential Tunes of the Year, the single announced Tripolism as a force to be reckoned with. As 2024 kicked off, the momentum only grew. Their collaboration with Meera, Whatever We Call It, earned yet another Essential New Tune nod on BBC Radio 1, reinforcing their reputation as one of the freshest and most innovative acts on the rise. Their debut album, Absolute Dope, followed shortly after, offering a deep dive into their dynamic sound and cementing their place in the scene. With a lot of new music coming, and with a coveted spot on the 2025 Coachella lineup, Tripolism is set to bring their raw energy to one of the world’s biggest stages. Stay tuned, stay dope, and get ready for a 2025 defined by the sounds of Tripolism.

Emerging in 2022 from Queens, New York, United States, ASMOT (A Story Made of Time) blends house into a genre-defying sound. We are Claudio and Jean Paul, better known as ASMOT, a DJ and producer duo. As an uncle and nephew team, music has always been at the center of our bond. Claudio introduced JP to DJing and production at a young age, and what started as mentorship has grown into a powerful collaboration. We produce and play a wide range of house music, but focus on all types of Afro house, creating sets that are designed to move people—deep, hypnotic, and high-energy journeys that reflect our shared passion for rhythm and storytelling. For us, ASMOT is more than music; it’s our family’s story expressed through sound—a connection passed down and reimagined for the dance floor.
