The long-running New York institution once again ascends to the surface world with a marathon session of deep-rooted subterranean rhythms at Nonstop.

The evening begins with Rrose, whose throbbing geothermal sound palette continues to set the bar for hypnotic techno. The UK’s Carrier takes control at peak hours, guiding us through trembling forest realms of dub and pulsating bass. And veteran selector Timnah arrives from Switzerland to lead us into the witching hours, traversing thick ambience that hangs in the air like mist above a steadily pulsing beat.

NYC staple Sevyn Love greets the rising sun with a warm color palette and bouncing rhythmic euphoria, and Bunker regulars Lauren Flax and Scotia carry us into mid-day with their shared love of deep acid and electro grooves. Finally, two of Detroit and New York’s most celebrated crate-diggers Carlos Souffront and Patrick Russell unite for a master session b2b, maintaining a deep-groove equilibrium well into the afternoon.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Timnah lives, works and feeds the cats in the Northwestern extremities of Switzerland. Brought up in her parents’ jazz clubs and deeply influenced by her brother’s love for dub and soundsystem culture, she started DJing just after the massively feared Millenium Bug had threatened to offset our relation to time and space. Dedicated to drawing her own map of late 20th century sonic landscapes, she spent the early 2000s exploring 90s electronics including breakbeat, triphop, ambient techno, drum&bass, house and jungle. After a short but sweet excursion into producing in the early 2010s, Timnah dedicated herself fully to spinning the wheels and transversing genres, gravitating towards her current signature sound that spans immersive sound baths and intergalactic carpet rides in half-time. Timnah is a member of Amenthia Recordings and a recent addition to the A Walking Contradiction Collective.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Lauren Flax has been a lifelong musician, starting to play the drums at 8 years old before continuing on to guitar and bass in high school. She began her DJ career in the underground dance and rave scenes of Detroit as a resident at the Motor Lounge, playing every Tuesday night along with resident DJs Mike Servito, DJ Dilemma, Jason Kendig, and Derek Plaslaiko. Flax played the very first Detroit Electronic Music Festival in 2000 on the Motor stage. While originally starting off as a jungle DJ, Flax evolved her style into a variety techno, house, and electro music. Flax moved to Chicago in 1999, where she honed in on music production while continuing to DJ. By 2002, she relocated again to Manhattan, which shortly followed the release of her first remix, "Much Finer" for Le Tigre. In 2018, Flax was introduced to DJ Haus by fellow Detroit musician and friend Jimmy Edgar, to which he quickly signed a record, resulting in "Dance Trax Vol. 16" (2018). In 2019, Flax joined the mostly Detroit-born New York collective The Bunker New York,[1] on which she released "One Man’s House is Another Woman’s Techno EP" (2019). The EP was highly successful and sold out quickly. Flax met with Brooklyn-based record label 2MR in 2019, curious to explore beyond the realm of dance music. She remixed 'Breathe' by label-mate Pale Blue, and that ended up inspiring Flax's new style of music. After the remix was released, Flax took to writing a 6 track EP, merging genres of ambient, acid house, and much more, set to come out in Summer 2021. Flax started touring the United States and Europe as a solo artist in 2019, performing live analog sets, pushing the boundaries of what a DJ is defined as.

On a tear for 2026 with performances in Los Angeles, The Bay Area, Chicago, Pittsburgh, and Portland (both Oregon and Maine!), Scotia stacked up memorable sets at legendary Detroit festival Movement’s Club Toilet (selected as a Resident Advisor Mix of the Day) and a frenetic B2B with Lauren Flax at Return to the Source. In June, she graced NYC Pride at The Carry Nation and Wrecked’s beloved Get Wrecked and Carry function at Knockdown Center, delighted at cult favorite Spaghetti Strap, and closed out Good Room. Her new records out on The Bunker NY and Chinotto Records present a kinetic and hypnotic acid sound that pushes the genre to new limits – and have been supported by the likes of Paranoid London, Mike Servito, Heidi Lawden, and regional queer DJs around the country.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Patrick Russell is a true veteran of the US underground, perhaps one of the last unsung heroes of a now lost era in the Midwest. A genuine sonic storyteller, he magically transforms the diaspora of acid, pure jack energy, and hints of IDM into a deep, fluent sonic dialog that never fails to devastate both minds and dance floor. A Detroit-bred DJ, artist, and producer active since the early 90's, Patrick has now made New York City his home. Perhaps best known as a key figure in the legendary No Way Back parties, his ability to weave intensely unique, long-format narratives has earned him critical acclaim and repeat performances at Japan’s Labyrinth festival, Berghain, Unsound, and DEMF/Movement. Patrick has also been steadily building a strong catalog of high-profile productions to compliment his increasingly varied, hypnotic, and in-demand DJ sets; his recent 3-track remix EP on The Bunker New York also marks his induction as an official resident DJ at the long-running Brooklyn party. His consummate taste and disciplined execution have created a respect that cannot be purchased. Patrick Russell is not just a name to watch, he is someone to be experienced.
