Moss’s first creative endeavors were as part of a crew that created industrial soundscapes / Art Noise for the Liquid Love parties at the famed Powerplant in Chicago from 1989-90. When the Powerplant was closed, Moss and his cohorts started Liquid Sex, which became a magnet for many well-known house artists such as Steve Poindexter, who put Moss in touch with future collaborators the Chicago Bad Boys collective. The Godmother of Transgender Dance Music (TDM), 30,000AD is a Chicago raised DJ— or as some like to call her, a “Disc Magician”. She started her journey exploring electronic instruments at a young age, until she began to learn to collect and mix records over the last decade. As those two disciplines crossed paths, her new practice evolved into an older format, one that blurs the lines between “live set” and “DJ set”. When she isn’t blending the two, she works to conjure the spirit of each into the other, to contribute towards the legacy of dance music’s defiance of definition. ⚧︎Their RA profile lists Plum , clu.Recently at Bossa Nova Civic Club, Future Space, public records · often with Kiernan Laveaux, Pamela_ and her sons, T.Wan, none of them here that night

“Scott Zacharias is one of those selectors who’s unafraid to color outside the genre lines.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Scott Zacharias is one of those selectors who’s unafraid to color outside the genre lines. Growing up on a diet of space rock, jazz and thrash, he soon became interested in his home’s deep house heritage, before expanding his repertoire further into psychedelia, disco, Italo and everything in between. Scott is a staple of the outer limits of the North American underground, breaking to the surface via his much-anticipated early-morning closing sets at Detroit's legendary No Way Back parties, which take place every Memorial Day weekend. There, Scott holds an open-minded yet extremely impressionable dancefloor rapt as the global scene's most dedicated dancers let loose until the sun is fully out and shining. Thanks to these spectacular moments suspended in time, Scott has risen to prominence outside Detroit and is something of a fixture of the most vaunted left-field parties and festivals worldwide.Their RA profile lists Secret Mixes Fixes.Recently at public records, Good Room, H0L0 · often with Carlos Souffront, Patrick Russell, Mike Servito, none of them here that night
