from the promoter’s listing

August launches with another Locals Night. Across both rooms, we’ve assembled a specially-curated run of b2bs and solo sets with some of the best artists in NY today. Holden Federico and Mos meet up for a special set. Both artists are adherents of timeless, evocative techno of the highest order. Federico’s releases on SK_eleven have been consistent standouts, and his recent “Origin” EP is a career high. Across its four tracks, he draws out stunning drama from carefully sculpted melodies and crisp, spacious sound design. Mos captures the best of gritty, austere techno. His sets build tension through careful restraint and fearless intuition. While Mos can bang it out as well as anyone, he can also tease out a climactic moment with patient, nervy confidence. Katie Rex and Concrete Husband team up to bring the frenzy. Both artists operate at the bleeding edge, starting with the energy at peak levels and taking it from there. Concrete Husband’s “Beg On Your Knees” is just one example of the producer’s mixture of merciless power and supple tenderness. Rex is a kindred spirit. The BOUND founder has made a career deploying slamming techno in service of unabashed, libidinous pleasure. Ne/Re/A returns to the room. One of the most consistent presences in the NY underground, Ne/ReA’s evolution into a world-class techno DJ has been thrilling to behold. The Merge resident is a galvanizing force and an inspiration to countless artists who follow in her wake.

Manu Miran has become one of STUDIO’s definitive artists. Since moving to the city five years ago, Miran has established himself as one of the most dynamic talents in the NY underground. Embracing the rawest side of house music, Miran’s sets are explosive affairs, a perfect compliment to the late summer heat. Kim Anh and Justin Cudmore join forces for a down-and-dirty b2b. Anh’s immaculate sets are steeped in obscurity, filled with the greatest, most rugged gems you’ve never heard. Jacking house, deep italo, sensual boogie and more are lovingly woven together. Justin Cudmore embraces a similar ethos. The Bunker NY bad boy is rooted in classic Midwest house, but expands well beyond those boundaries. Analog Soul seals the deal. The duo is one of our era’s exemplary standard setting units. A true pillar of NY’s underground, their decades-long tenure in the city stands as an incontestable triumph for authentic, and yes soulful dance music.

  • Mos

“Over the past few years, Mos has established a resonant voice within the electronic music community.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Over the past few years, Mos has established a resonant voice within the electronic music community. The rituals surrounding electronic music have always fascinated Mos, the devotion to craft, the importance of empathy, and emphasis on community. Mos pulls both contemporary tracks and enduring sounds of the past. The result; timeless. Growing up in New York, Mos began working in nightlife at the age of 15 when he was hired by Selah Marley to design and build a party installation in downtown Brooklyn named ‘Primordial Palace’. While Mos was raised in Brooklyn, he originally was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. In September 2005, Hurricane Katrina tore through the Gulf of Mexico and ravaged New Orleans. This resulted in his family’s relocation to New York City, Mos was only two years old then. Years later, his discovery of electronic music in NYC has led him to dance floors across the world, Kyiv, Brussels, Paris, and Berlin all contributing to his track selection.

  • Katie Rex

New York City · 47 bookings since Sep 2023

“Katie Rex is one of NY’s most essential and impactful DJs.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Katie Rex is one of NY’s most essential and impactful DJs. The Bound founder and Basement resident has spent the last decade and changed pushing a singular vision of wild, uncompromising rave power. Fusing throbbing techno, ripping hardgroove, key selections from NY’s vibrant underground and nods to her foundational loves - goth & industrial - Rex has developed a well-earned reputation for turning the dancefloor on its head. Her sets move with the perfect balance of precision and controlled chaos, transmuting a gleefully grungy menace into liberatory catharsis. Rex’s career began in Philadelphia where, in true DIY spirit, she began organizing parties around a key, glaring gap. Factory Girls was Rex’s first party series, an all-femme party that highlighted some of the 2010’s most vital new artists and helped point the way forward out of an oppressively male-focused monoculture. Word spread quickly, and early alliances with NY’s Discwoman drew Rex up to NY more and more. A few short years later she found herself at the center of a cultural renaissance. Regular sets at the revered, secretive Unter party, close ties with Bossa Nova Civic Club, and in 2016, the first edition of Bound all came quickly, and Rex’s position in the culture was soon indisputable. Bound has become Rex’s calling card: a NY-based, nationally produced kink party that seeks to redefine the form. Landing at the revered institution Basement, as one of the inaugural residencies at the club in 2019. As with Factory Girls, Bound pushes back against the ensconced patriarchal power dynamics that have made many femme and queer people feel unwelcome. It instead creates a space that is directly, unapologetically for those groups, with outstanding artists to boot. Rex’s DJing at these parties inevitably sets the standard; her capacity to both wield music of brutal power and craft an immersive, captivating, even joyful journey embodies the entire ethos of the night. Through this passion for amplifying artists, Rex created a boutique label featuring releases from Dax J, Silent Servant, Terence Fixmer, Bored Lord, Kilbourne, Ireen Amnes, Kontravoid, and more. After a 6 year Lot Radio residency, featuring a host of guests including VTSS, Rebekah, Sedef Adasï, Akua, Silent Servant, and Hyperaktivist, Bound release a new mix series In 2025. Rex has become an international presence, with regular gigs across the States and overseas. Her sets have been sought after beyond the club by Boiler Room and luxury houses Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Burberry, and Parfums de Marley. Press features in Vogue, The Face, Paper Magazine, Document Journal, Vice, The New Yorker, and Nylon Magazine have lauded her as the face of a new wave in nightlife culture. As her vision has come to shape US nightlife, the power of her music has only become more honed and riveting. What’s come before is only the beginning.
Their RA profile lists Bound and Magic City.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Concrete Husband is a NYC-based producer, DJ, composer, and flutist whose work bridges hypnotic techno, contemporary composition, and surrealist sound design. His forward-thinking dance records Piel and Pelvic Resonance, released on White Owl Records, received critical acclaim, with Document Journal describing his music as “redefining avant-garde composition.” Educated at New England Conservatory, he draws on a deep knowledge of musical history to create emotionally charged sonic narratives that blur the line between the sensual and the uncanny. His DJ sets move through hypnotic grooves and psychological tension. A fixture of the Brooklyn techno scene, he has been seen countless times at BASEMENT, Paragon, and Knockdown Center, as well as at WIRE Festival and Merge. He is a resident of the Mexico City collective Pervert. As a composer and flutist, he merges virtuosic performance with experimental approaches to sound. Integrating live flute into his work, he has developed a singular performance language that led Eartheater to invite him to open her 2024 international tour, alongside a headline debut at Silent Green. His compositions have been presented at Amant, MoMA PS1, Museum of Modern Art, MUNCH, and Palazzo Reale. He has also scored Dion Lee’s Shanghai Fashion Week presentation and contributed flute compositions to the A24 film Beau Is Afraid. Most recently, he released the experimental project "Where The Ashes Glow" on NNA Tapes.

    the whole biography
Spanish DJ and producer, Ne/Re/A, a fixture of Brooklyn's teeming techno ecosystem for more than 10 years, has a distinctly energetic approach to the genre - relentless groove and unapologetically timeless. In 2021, Ne/Re/A was named resident DJ of the Brooklyn-based queer party, MERGE, which has served as a musical home and has allowed her to explore the depths of her sonic palette alongside a sophisticated rolodex of the genre's legends. She has played alongside DVS1, Boris, Phase Fatale, Wata Igarashi, Takaaki Itoh and Ancient Methods (to name a few). She cut her teeth as the founder and resident DJ of Distrikt1, the monthly weeknight party at Brooklyn's historic Bossa Nova Civic Club. She's played reputable parties in New York - Unter, Wrecked, Bound and many nights at the city's premiere institutions in BASEMENT, Nowadays, and Paragon. She's played at Berlin's Tresor, Pornceptual, Gegen and at the iconic queer pilgrimage, Whole Festival, BULTO and Video Club in Colombia and Brutal in Mexico City. Her collaborative project, Name Names, with DC-based DJ and producer Juana explores the darker shades of her repertoire, where driving propulsive techno are at the forefront. In 2025, her prowess grows, Ne/Re/A makes her debut in Asia at Taiwan's highly-regarded Organik Festival and Seoul's Volnost, plays notable parties in New York like Wire Festival, Berlin and South America, and continues her residency with MERGE. As a producer Ne/Re/A sharply blends industrial and EBM with melodic techno into her own concoction - a heady assemblage of punch and drive. In 2025 she just released a collaborative track with Clarisa Kimskii in Phase Fatale's BITE record label. In 2024 she released two new tracks for Maison Fauna “In the Dark” and Infra “Piercing the veil”. In 2020, she released her first EP "Your World Took Your Future" on the Industrial Techno United imprint. their own biography

    the whole biography
Justin's coming-of-age as a fan and creator of dance music took place amidst the wide expanses of central Illinois. As a kid growing up in the state’s tucked-away capital of Springfield, he played drums as a jazz percussionist in school. While most of his peers were tuned into pop music, Justin was wearing out self-made mixes and classic disco compilations, workshopping new-wave influenced beats in bands and DJing college parties. A post-graduation move to Chicago led him to work for the influential dance music blog Little White Earbuds, opening him up to fully experience the city’s thriving underground house and techno scene. A Midwest-born and raised DJ, Justin has played at queer parties such as Wrecked, The Carry Nation, Horse Meat Disco, Honcho, and Club Toilet, and has gained a following all over the world with appearances at clubs like Smartbar Chicago, Panorama Bar, Is Burning Amsterdam, Razzmatazz Barcelona, DC10 and Lux Fragil. His bold, acid-flecked distillation of house and techno has found a home on the labels that are helping to shape the current landscape of transgressive body music, including The Bunker New York, Detroit’s Interdimensional Transmissions, and Honey Soundsystem Records. Justin's sound is defined by snaking acid lines, whip smart drums and offbeat rave melodies that have resonated with DJs and dancers from Detroit to Berlin. He has been featured in mixes for series such as Beats In Space, Truants, MixMag, Phantasy and The Bunker New York’s long-running podcast.
