Sterling Juan Diaz headlines STUDIO. Few artists are as consistent as Diaz, whose powerhouse sets land with a perfect mix of raw energy and soulful depth every time. A true ambassador for the modern NY underground, he has made his mark far beyond the city limits, with standout appearances at Club Toilet, LA’s Ostbanhof, Sustain-Release and many more. Diaz’s seemingly effortless poise and infectious energy transcends context and captures the innate spirit of dance music. FUTUREHOOD founder Mister Wallace returns. While releases like “SPKY SZN” slow the tempo way down, bringing in a dark energy into the mix, Wallace’s DJ sets slam with pure adrenaline. Philly’s Jellyfish make their debut. The hometown heroes - aka formosa and Ricky Mawzlin - capture a glistening, disco-tinged sound, marked by an abundance of effusive, rushing momentum.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Ryan started his ongoing love affair with dancing and dance clubs at a young age. But it wasn’t until moving to New York in 2006 that he took his love of the music in the direction of DJing and promoting. Noting that many of the city’s gay dance clubs were playing surprisingly homogenous music, Ryan was inspired to push that envelope. Combining forces with DJ Ron Like Hell, Ryan started DJing at “Rocket,” a party night they collaborated on at Hose in the East Village that became popular for its distinctive mix of classic and forward-thinking house and disco. Later he co-conceived and DJ’d the Soffitta70 parties at the Public Assembly Loft in Williamsburg, combining house and techno music with psychedelic art, and drawing a vibrant and eclectic young dance crowd. The sound Ryan and Ron created for these parties caught the attention of Catz ‘n Dogz, and Electronic Music Bears, and Honey Soundsystem leading to the duo's tailoring exclusive podcasts for all of them. Ryan’s penchant for soulful rhythms with a decidedly forward edge soon brought him DJ gigs in San Francisco (with Honey Soundsystem), DC at U Street Music Hall, in London (Dalston Superstore with the legendary Optimo and Vogue Fabrics with Severino, and Club Butt w/ Butt Magazine and Boris of Berghain), and in Berlin (Cocktail D’amore) as well as one of New York’s most popular dance clubs and parties, from the main floor of the legendary Saint At Large Black Party to Santos Party House and nights such as the legendary Bunker, the cutting-edge techno night in Brooklyn. As a DJ, Ryan continues pushing the dance music envelope with sweat-inducing rhythms at his latest ventures, “Wrecked,” at National Underground in New York. He’s also expanding his creative parameters as one of the founding partners of Discaire, a queer-run record label based out of NYC, San Francisco and London and booking some of the worlds most sought after underground DJ’s. And of course he keeps pushing the hip-moving musical parameters of New York’s dance clubs!
Their RA profile lists Central Dogma Records.

JELLYFISH is Ricky Mawzlin and Stephanie Tsong, a DJ duo/collective from Pittsburgh (USA). They welcome dancers to a sweaty dance floor blanketed in neon + fog with sets that morph between italo, house, melodic techno, disco, electro, and beyond. Since 2017 they’ve DJ’d and hosted parties throughout Pittsburgh. They’ve also played cities as NYC, Taipei, Mexico City, San Francisco, Detroit, London, Berlin, and much more. Jellyfish strives to create a (very) queer, FUN atmosphere where ALL are welcome on the dance floor. Now let’s dance.
