Developing a passion for electronic music through the underground scene of his hometown, Yonti went on to become one of its defining figures - whether behind the decks or as a curator of clubs and events, always channeling the same wild, inclusive energy that captivated him from the start. Pursuing a contemporary and propulsive style of techno, his sets balance surgical focus with unvarnished expression - alluring loops stacked in crisp layers, brooding inescapable intensity, and a near-erotic tension that rises without ever surrendering its grip, leaving the room drenched in sweat and suspended in melancholic euphoria. Yonti made his debut at Berghain’s legendary SNAX party at just 23 and soon became a regular at the institution. Since then, his sound and dedication have taken him to some of the most respected rooms and festivals worldwide: Bassiani, K41, De School, BASEMENT, Tresor, Pawnshop, Faust and even Glastonbury Festival.Recently at BASEMENT · often with Ne/Re/A, GLOBUS, TRESOR, none of them here that night

James Axon is a DJ, musician, and creator of the LA-based queer underground party Planet Love, as well as a resident on Dublab with his radio show Hearing Color. A lifelong pianist turned obsessive record collector, James Axon approaches DJing as an extension of musicianship. Before falling into house and techno, he spent years in bands and orchestral ensembles, a background that still shapes the way he thinks about rhythm, harmony, and structuring his sets compositionally. As a keyboardist and musician, he has collaborated with Seven Davis Jr. and Massimiliano Pagliara, and as a DJ has shared lineups with the likes of Octo Octa, Eris Drew, Avalon Emerson,The Blessed Madonna, Derrick Carter, Paramida, Peach, Moxie, Alex Kassian, Zombies in Miami, Jennifer Loveless, Sally C, Tornado Wallace, Perel, Eli Escobar, Paurro, and more. His sets drift seamlessly between house, techno, italo, electro, disco, and breaks, guided by an expansive taste shaped by pioneering artists like Aphex Twin, Kraftwerk, Giorgio Moroder, Jeff Mills, Laurent Garnier, Andrew Weatherall, and Francois Kevorkian. His sets are always colorful, eclectic, and intuitively reflective of the setting -- whether playing cosmic disco in an intimate loft or hypnotic techno in a dark foggy warehouse, he still finds a sound that is distinctly James Axon: melodic and synth-heavy, driving and dreamy.Recently at Good Room, public records, Unveiled · often with Telesforo, Massimiliano Pagliara, Leo Scheck, none of them here that night
“Born and raised in Queens, a city dweller and a club kid, Kilopatrah has an innate and superlative gift for transferring energy from the booth to the dance floor—through exciting house, techno, and jungle, and moments that both harken to Sound Factory–era glory days and bring you to sweaty BPMs of the future.”

Born and raised in Queens, a city dweller and a club kid, Kilopatrah has an innate and superlative gift for transferring energy from the booth to the dance floor—through exciting house, techno, and jungle, and moments that both harken to Sound Factory–era glory days and bring you to sweaty BPMs of the future. Their sets are palpably personal: The dance floor has always been a powerful platform for expression for Kilo, once as a freeing and connecting space for a quiet house dancer and now as one for moving others like them. When Kilo gets going, you’ll lose sense of the kick drum versus the beat of your own body against the floor. That’s a gift from them to you, and your percussion is a gift back to them. Kilo brings their energetic sass to a monthly Lot Radio residency and to parties with impressive lineups, playing alongside Todd Terry home in New York, at the legendary Movement weekend Club Toilet in Detroit, and for Boiler Room. Their mixes, for series such as Coloring Lessons, Honcho, and Juanita’s, and for spots on Rinse and Refuge, also capture the club at its most euphoric. You’ll step a little harder with Kilopatrah Jones. Words by Sacha MadadianRecently at Nowadays, Paragon, BASEMENT · often with Mike Servito, Dee Diggs, Makadsi, none of them here that night
