“Minneapolis has delivered several artists to the techno world, but back home in the city, Centrific is regarded as one of the godfathers.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Minneapolis has delivered several artists to the techno world, but back home in the city, Centrific is regarded as one of the godfathers. DJing throughout the Midwest for nearly two decades, he's also been throwing some of Minneapolis’ best parties with various collaborators, under the name Intellephunk, for 15+ years. And he is just as likely to be seen up front dancing in front of the speakers, as he is behind the decks. As a DJ, Centrific can be called upon in many situations. Whether producing darker warehouse techno at one of his Intellephunk parties, or deep funky tech house at his open air Communion Sundays events, he lays down a hypnotic groove designed to lead the listener into the centrifical vortex…

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Texas-born and Brooklyn-based, Henry Chow has spent nearly three decades embedded in the underground, moving dance floors with raw, mood-driven techno and house. A lifelong crate digger, his sound leans heavy on tension, groove, and restraint—built for dark rooms and long nights. As a DJ, Chow’s reputation has carried him to international stages and key venues across the U.S., including regular appearances at The Great Beyond (US). In Houston, Chow co-founded Crossroads, then one of Texas’ longest-running dance parties. The series became a proving ground for uncompromising international and regional artists alongside deeply rooted local talent, helping shape a sustainable, late-night culture. After arriving in Brooklyn in 2017, Chow re-established Crossroads with a series of events at the now defunct TBA Brooklyn. Years later Chow teamed up with Dianna Loevner, Samuel FIsh, and Dyllon Young to help create the underground outfit Mizz Softee. In the studio, Chow first cut his teeth in the early 2000s, releasing an EP on Marco Carola's seminal techno imprint, Zenit. Followed by original and remixes on labels such as Genetic Recordings, Thoughtless Music, Harmonious Discord and Abiotic. Dug from the past and locked into the present, Henry Chow delivers music that’s physical and meant to be felt.

One of the most innovative and experimental composers who have made a mark on the International dance scene. Ken Ishii started making his version techno at a time when Japan was not yet at the crossroads where all things techno came together. Already putting out tracks on the cult label R&S since ’94, Ken’s sound soon broke out of the confines of a specialist audience and took the world by storm, receiving support from world class artists such as Dave Clarke, Luke Slater, Thomas Schumacher and many more.He has since been touring Intensively throughout Europe, Asia and America. His fourthcoming album-Future In Light- will have his take on the sound of Detroit, showing the world the new sound of Ken Ishii.
