Born in the United States to Argentinean parents and raised under the vibrant skies of Puerto Rico, Sebastian Markman's (Sebs) life has been a rich tapestry of diverse cultural influences, all converging into his profound love for music. His journey is not just about melodies and beats; it's a testament to the power of music in bridging worlds. Sebs's passion for music transcends mere listening – it's an embodiment of freedom and unity, deeply rooted in the rave culture's ethos. He's not just a DJ; he's a musical alchemist, skillfully blending genres like minimal tech, deep house, and tech house, aiming to create an emotional resonance that compels the soul to dance. With a decade honed in the energetic streets of Miami, Sebs has mastered the craft of electronic music. His performances at renowned venues like Floyd, 1-800-Lucky, Treehouse, Eagle Room, and Proyecto Tulum are not just gigs; they are experiences, transporting audiences to euphoric realms. For Sebs, electronic music is more than a career – it's a lifeline that has brought endless joy, profound connections, and lasting friendships. His mission is to share this magical journey with the world, to spread the joy that music has brought him. As a producer, his style merges hypnotic electronic percussion with syncopated rhythms, soulful melodies, and sampling techinques inspired by hip-hop. As a DJ, his selection ebbs & flows depending on the environment, ranging from heart-racing soundtracks of footwork, jungle/dnb, & jersey club at night, to soul-soothing blends of hip-hop, rnb, jazz, soul, & city pop by day. Off the decks, he is a rapper and local event organizer also known as LEEWAY. You may know him for his DIY event series Steeped in Sound, which focuses on creating community building spaces through music and tea.Recently at Mood Ring, Jade, Elsewhere · often with DJ Fat Frog, Petal, rmzi, none of them here that night
