MARACUYá is a first-generation Venezuelan-Korean DJ and visual artist from the East Bay who centers Afro-Indigenous Latin sounds and diasporic queer club rhythms. She co-organized queer Black and Brown cumbia and perreo nights in Portland, where she also played with Latin party crews like Global Based, and played support for international touring artists like 3BallMTY. After recently returning to the Bay Area, MARACUYá continues building spaces for marginalized bodies to be centered and freely expressed, in the Bay, mainly with Velvet Cloud Radio on Secret Menu, and around the world. Her success as an artist is measured through the movement and energy she witnesses on the dancefloor.“Born and raised in New York City to Dominican immigrants, Nix was introduced to music of all cultures at a very young age.”

Born and raised in New York City to Dominican immigrants, Nix was introduced to music of all cultures at a very young age. From singing in choir in elementary school, being part of a jazz ensemble at Lincoln Center in middle school, and a variety of bands throughout high school, music is all they've known as music has surrounded them during turbulent times in their lives. It wasn't until post-grad, where Nix didn't have a creative outlet to express themselves. Once they picked up their first set of decks... that's when they knew... a monster was born. MANGUMAMI, who Nix has often described as "the voice in my head" and "the Hyde to my Jekyll" is a imp-like demon whose goal is to leave you addicted for more. With infectious rhythms of all genres blending into various melodies, MANGUMAMI captures audiences' ears and body like a siren and doesn't release them until they're done.Recently at The Onyx Room at House of Yes, Jupiter Disco, Bossa Nova Civic Club · often with CMD+JAZMINE, JFUSE, Petal, none of them here that night

Bea Trinidad is a New York City–born and based Filipina DJ, vinyl selector, and producer whose sound is a vibrant map of her global travels and multicultural roots. Her sets are heavily based on New York City’s musical identity, anchored in the warmth of soulful and deep house, with influences of hip-hop and r&b, jazz, soul, peak-time euphoria of ’90s anthems, and a wide-reaching palette of global club rhythms - the very sounds that defined the city’s legendary dance floors. A technical powerhouse behind the decks, Bea is known for her multi-deck mixing and hybrid digital-vinyl sets. By bridging the gap between these classic NYC sensibilities and modern dance floor rhythms, she creates a sound that is both locally rooted and internationally minded. A classically trained pianist and dancer of over 20 years, Bea’s relationship with music is inherently physical. Her perspective has been sharpened by a decade-long immersion in rave culture, giving her an innate understanding of the dance floor’s energy and the "why" behind the groove. While living in Europe for three years, Bea’s background as a promoter for the Paris-based collective Possession offered a firsthand look at the logistics and raw energy required to build a movement from the underground up. This experience, combined with her ability to speak several languages, allows her to navigate the industry as a true sonic citizen. Bea is celebrated for her versatility. Much like her work as a cultural commentator, her sets explore the globalization of sound, proving that a fusion of cultures can create a universal language on the floor. Bea has brought her sound to some of New York City’s favorite spaces, including Public Records, Elsewhere, and House of Yes. Her international reach extends to Asia and Europe, while her versatility has led to partnerships with global brands like Adidas, Free People, the US Open, and Dazed Magazine. Beyond the booth, she remains a dedicated advocate for her community, consistently lending her abilities to fundraisers, POC-led organizations, and initiatives championing women in music. Ultimately, her mission is to ensure the dance floor remains an accessible site for connection, advocacy, and joy.Recently at Pier 78 at Hudson River Park, McCarren Park, Dead Letter No. 9 · often with Roland & Brother Rich, Bustin' Loose, SMURFOUDIRTY, none of them here that night
