the whole biography
Olof has been involved in different cultural projects where music plays a central role in communicating political beliefs. His solo project, Oni Ayhun, plays with stereotypical ideas and norms about gender in dance and experimental music. Starting djing around 98' at local school parties, he ran his first club in high school and has been djing since. He started out playing Disco, House, Garage, and Drum n' bass playing more Hip Hop and R&B in the early 2000's. Following this was a long period of playing harder Techno and House, including EBM and Shranz. The last decade has seen him playing mostly throughout Europe when he's not too busy producing music in his Berlin studio. Currently, as a DJ, Olof plays a mix of West African pop music, Kuduro, Acid, Hip Hop, R&B, and melodic Techno and House. He enjoys making fun edits and remixes to play in his sets. He recently remixed the Swedish Batucada group, Yacombe. You can hear it in the opening of his Rinse FM mix. He’s currently producing music for friends like Planningtorock, Zhala, and Houwaida Hedfi aka Hiya wal Âalam- a band in which he also plays the flute & percussion.Their RA profile lists Rabid Records, Hessle Audio, Dekmantel, AD 93 and 1 more.Recently at Nowadays, public records · often with Elissa Suckdog, Avalon Emerson, Introspekt, none of them here that night

A self-described egirl with a kindred spirit for cats, born and raised in Hong Kong but now based in Bristol studying music, 18 year-old Kiana Li has defiantly hurtled into our playlists over a series of pivotal releases over the last 11 months. Following a series of low-key net-label releases on Expanse came her Evaluate Me EP in November 2019. Self-released and six tracks deep, Kiana explains how it set the foundations for every meteoric moment her career has had this year. It ranged from dystopian, industrial-weight narratives to psychedelic, off-grid interludes and the best evaluation that could be generated from such a document was simply to expect the unexpected… And to understand that she will never sit comfortably in any one genre or play to expectations or rely on any standard production formulae. - UKF 2020Their RA profile lists XL Recordings, Critical Music, dh2, Kapsela and 1 more.often with Malibu, Bill Kouligas, DJ Khalipha, none of them here that night
