American DJ and producer Kim Anh has been a staple of the queer dance music underground for two decades. She has gone on to make an indelible impact on the nightlife scenes she's been a part of in Los Angeles and New York, where she currently splits her time between NYC and the Hudson Valley. The founder of groundbreaking queer parties like Booby Trap! and Tendencies, Kim Anh helped underline the queer and POC history of dance music, bringing it back to its roots. Her production and songwriting blends classic house and electronic with a contemporary sensibility, with catchy hooks and edgy, sensual lyrics, described by DJ Mag as "lucid and absorbing, and conveying an assertion and power." She’s been a top 10 Beatport artist with features in Mix Mag (UK & Asia), DJ Mag, Resident Advisor and LA Weekly to name a few. More recently, Kim Anh started her own Can U Not Talk Records label, and has also been featured on labels like Live At Robert Johnson, Afro Acid and Nervous Records. Nita is a noted member of the legendary House of Aviance. She started DJing around the turn of the millennium and was a resident at the infamous Mr. Black and Westgay, both touchstones for queer artistry and culture in downtown nightlife of the early 2000's. Will has deep roots in NYC club culture, having worked at The Loft and collaborated closely with David Mancuso, holding residencies at many of the downtown New York clubs over the years including The Limelight, Life and Vandam. After dividing his time between NYC and Paris, working on music with fashion houses such as Issey Miyake, Vivienne Westwood and Yves Saint Laurent, Will returned to DJing dance floors when he co-created SPANK with partners Sean B & Jason Roe. What started as a basement dance party evolved into a roving art-based warehouse party along with a namesake zine. SPANK began to work closely with Horse Meat Disco and the close relationship with that crew has extended in various forms through the years into the present. Currently, Nita and Will perform globally as both individual DJs and, more often, as a duo --they are most recognized for epic extended B2B sets and their wildly successful monthly queer party (also known as The Carry Nation) at Brooklyn's Good Room. Their range is wide and exciting, and in the New York tradition they effortlessly flow through genres and time periods while keeping a modern edge. Since the inception of The Carry Nation, the duo has toured the world extensively including Glastonbury’s Block 9 and Berlin’s Berghain/Panorama Bar among many others. They also have a residency at Ladyfag's flagship monthly Battle Hymn. As producers, their credits include releases and remixes on Get Up Recordings, Classic Music Company, TRIBAL, Nervous, TRAX, Batty Bass, TWIRL, W&O Street Tracks and more. Their latest venture is Major Records, an imprint they co-founded with Justin Cudmore to showcase their Majorettes collaboration with releases that are setting dancefloors alight with a fresh but classic house vibe that stays rooted in the excitement of New York’s history and underground.House on 28, Tech House on 7, Techno on 4 and Deep House on 5. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on Nervous Records (2) and Cómeme (1); their RA profile also lists Batty Bass Records, HNYTRX, Twirl, Good Company Records and 1 more. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Paragon, BASEMENT, Rumi · often with Nita Aviance, Will Automagic, Alissa Brianna, none of them here that night

HEX HECTOR Hex Hector’s skills are sought after the world over. Where has the king of club anthems been, you might ask? After touring extensively in the early 90s, Hex spent 10 years of quality time in the studio pumping out hit after hit. While still remixing for big names, the thrill of playing in clubs has been beckoning and he’s back doing what he loves…feeling the crowd and making people dance with that deep, sexy, underground sound deep, sexy, underground sound. The post-disco rise of New York nightclubs like the Paradise Garage Paradise Garage, the Roxy Roxy and the Funhouse Funhouse provided the foundation for Hex’s burgeoning interest in dance music, as did radio shows like KISS-FM’s Shep KISS-FM’s Shep Pettibone Pettibone. At the height of his touring days, Hex held residencies at legendary New York hot spots like the Tunnel, Limelight, Palladium, Tunnel, Limelight, Palladium, Sound Factory Bar, Nell’s, Club USA Sound Factory Bar, Nell’s, Club USA and Danceteria Danceteria. Along the way he met and became friends with Jennifer Lopez Jennifer Lopez, who was later the catalyst for his blockbuster remix “Waiting for Tonight” “Waiting for Tonight”, winning him a Grammy Grammy for Remixer of the Year Remixer of the Year in 2001. By that time, Hex was one of the industry’s most in-demand remixers.
