It's Libra season which means the outfits are outfit-ing and everyyyyone is getting flirty on the dancefloor. Come make questionable decisions with exceptionally attractive people. Balance is overrated.

Darling Cool is a musically eclectic house DJ and producer making fresh and meaningful waves on her bicoastal adventures between DC and Oakland. While you can catch her selecting classics, deep cuts, remixes, and edits across various genres, she places a heavy emphasis on sharing soul-moving, dance-heavy house influenced by her Nigerian + German roots and inspired by the wide range of dance music she was raised on. She has rocked stages from SF to LA, DC to NY, and beyond—playing direct support for Aluna + Coco & Breezy, Anastazja, Aqutie, Disclosure, Drama, Full Crate, Jayda G, and on support bills for Andre Power, Ashanti, Chris Lake, HoneyLuv, Joy (Anonymous), Jyoty, Kaytranada, MK, NEZ, Salvatore Ganacci, Snakehips, SWIM, and more.Recently at Mood Ring, Paragon, Honey's · often with Joogmac, 4DHILA, JAMBALAYA, none of them here that night

their own biography
the whole biography
In the span of her journey, Niara has become an integral thread in the renaissance of music, community, style, and expression in New York. Originally from Virginia, Niara's roots have heavily influenced her developing sound - from an array of massive basslines, melodic patterns, and throbbing kicks summed up in a soulful pulse. In New York, she's occupied spaces like Brooklyn Mirage, Good Room, House of Yes, Jupiter Disco, Le Bain, and Public Records spinning subgenres of House and Soul music. She's been proud to have shared decks with artists she admires such as Aluna, Easy Mo Bee, Full Crate, DJ Spinna, Rich Medina and more. Her gift has granted her access to the world, performing at festivals like Tropíco in Mexico or touring with Talib Kweli around the country and Switzerland. Niara has also toured for brands like Burberry and has DJ'd for other artists like Ari Lennox, Alxndr London, Masego, and Mosey Sumney. In 2020, Niara was featured in Essence magazine as a "spin doctor you need to know and cannot afford to be clueless about." In 2021, Niara made her second appearance on national TV on the OWN network. She performed original music for a tv special called Vital Voices of 2021, hosted by Oprah Winfrey. With many other notches on her belt, Niara is most proud of her evolving sound as she blossoms into her ideal producer. Her new residency NICHE is where you can trust her to experiment in her purest form. Expect her rhythmic selections to be submerged, vast, lush, and sometimes otherworldly.Recently at H0l0 Yard, H0L0, Dead Letter No. 9 · often with Meedy, Cosmo, pizzi, none of them here that night
