When considering his status as beloved and respected member of the contemporary Amsterdam techno scene, it’s sometimes easy to forget Dimi Angélis was among the founding members of the very culture that helped shape it. Promoting illegal raves and warehouse parties and putting his first needle on a record back when “underground” was still a definable term, Dimi now holds well over a decade of international DJ-ing experience. It shouldn’t come as a surprise then that this is directly reflected by his record collection, musical knowledge and technical ability which all easily match and in most cases surpass that of many. Such an extensive frame of reference enables Dimi to look at “techno” through a unique and highly personal lens. Well aware of the genre’s fluid boundaries, ever changing trends and the impact of continually developing technology, Dimi is able to elegantly step outside of the pre-determined fabric and in a sense mould its essential elements into something that feels familiar but upon more careful observation, or rather listening, is actually quite special. Putting personality and outspoken taste first, his DJ-sets are always remarkable and at no point predictable, more so because he does not believe in easy pleasing. Strongly opinionated and unafraid to speak on his thoughts, the records and flow incorporated in a Dimi Angélis set are equally straightforward and honest. What you see is in Dimi’s case really what you get, but it always comes wrapped in something appropriately unexpected. In 2003 he joined forces with good friend Jeroen Search and together they have since launched multiple successful projects including outstanding live-acts “Counterpart” and “A&S Live” as well as their own newly founded vinyl only imprint, “A&S”. Under the first mentioned guise of Counterpart they are responsible for lauded EP’s such as “Ion” 01 and 02 on the sub-label of Rachmad’s Scorp of the same name, “Oxygenating” and “The Next Level” on Audiosculpture and “The Martian Mystique” on Jeff Mills’s Mission (6277/Axis). More recently they have put out characteristic, quality techno on their own A&S, Balans, Stockholm LTD, Smallville, Figure SPC and Traut as simply Dimi Angélis and Jeroen Search. 2014 sees the launch of ANGLS, Dimi’s first imprint, to release his own material. This will act as the platform where he can represent the throbbing, hypnotic sound of Dimi Angelis. Dimi’s list of played clubs and festivals is nothing short of respectably long and includes Awakenings, Kozzmozz, Tresor, Rex, Berghain, Suicide Circus, Le Moulin Rouge, Doornroosje, Paradiso, Dekmantel, Welcome to the Future, Free Your Mind, Rockit, Mysteryland, Club One, Stubnitz and even the late Innercity.
Their RA profile lists Stockholm LTD, Smallville Records, MindTrip, Figure and 6 more.

Lindsey Herbert is a prominent figure in today's techno scene, particularly renowned across the US’ Southwest for her unwavering dedication to techno's more underground sounds and sound design, and her ability to command crowds no matter the circumstances. Beginning as a young raver with an intense passion for dance music and its community, Lindsey began her own musical journey at the age of 15 and has been at it for nearly half of her life. Since her first gig in 2014, she has been a fixture alongside top-tier artists in the bustling scenes of Los Angeles and San Francisco, leaving an indelible mark on both cities. Originally a resident and booker of Robot Ears and now a resident of Direct to Earth, Lindsey has been an integral part of San Francisco's techno landscape, while also gracing the stages of prominent LA promoters such as OBSERVE, Synthetik Minds, 6AM, Dirty Epic, RE/FORM, and more. Her influence extends beyond borders with steady headlining gigs both domestically and internationally, also holding a residency for Techno Snobs in Phoenix for 3 years and most recently becoming the first international resident for Geheimclub in Magdeburg in 2025. In 2019, Lindsey made her solo production debut on LA's Ascetic Limited, marking the beginning of a prolific journey in the studio. Her discography has grown exponentially, with recent drops on esteemed U.S. underground labels like Truncate, 4-Trk, Blank Code, Northern Parallels, and Crisis of Man, as well as notable European and South American imprints such as Noise Manifesto, Planet X, NECHTO, Suara and many others. The future holds even more promise with countless forthcoming releases on the horizon. However, Lindsey's trajectory extends far beyond her production career. Notably, she graced the stages of Movement Festival in Detroit in 2023 and made several appearances at the iconic Tresor in Berlin in, further solidifying her presence on the global stage. Additionally, she was personally invited by techno luminary Richie Hawtin to tour throughout North America as part of his From Our Minds concept, further cementing her status in the industry. Lindsey's personal sound is dancefloor-oriented and ever-evolving. Her sets, ranging from ambient to deep and dark, to peak-time and high-energy, are meticulously crafted to suit the atmosphere, aiming to immerse listeners in a captivating journey and lock them into a relentless groove. Beyond her performances and productions, Lindsey is also a co-founder of EvilGroove, a burgeoning label that continues to expand its roster of talented emerging artists. The label has been actively hosting showcases, providing a platform for the next generation of techno talent to shine. Residencies: Underground & Black , Realms of Techno Party series: Realms of Techno Record Label: Realms of Techno Ann-Marie Teasley, known as The AM, and most recently AMX comes from the Detroit - Berlin school of techno. By connecting the dots between the past, present, and future of the Detroit sound, she has translated the futuristic musical ideas of back then into the present. Before becoming one of Detroit's most exciting new producers, the orchestra kid played in the first violin section of Metro Detroit’s Oakland Youth Orchestra. She made her entrance as a DJ playing underground parties in Detroit and NYC before dropping her debut EP “Black Majik” on Berlin’s Tresor label in 2022. The Detroit native also released a second EP “Sexworker” on the Dutch imprint Deeptrax Records, which Groove Mag DE described as “an abstraction of classic futuristic Detroit sound.” While being on iconic line ups like Movement Electronic Music Festival, Berghain’s Birthday Anniversary, Freedom Festival Columbia, and Bar Do Deca Brazil, she began to release electro tracks with catchy vocals under the monicker AMX, starting out with “Ride.” On NYC’s Haus of Altr label. Followed by “Werk It.” on International Chrome. She returned to the Tresor label in 2024 as AMX for their collaboration with Carhartt WIP. In 2025 AMX was featured on EU labels Paraíso and Activity Vision. You can check out their signature techno / electro sound via their monthly residency at Spkrbox Detroit, where she invites a new artist to join her for each event. In March 2025, AMX merged her monthly residency into her own record label under the same moniker ‘Realms of Techno’ with a 4 track EP which was released on March 7, 2025.

    the whole biography
Irish-born and New York-based, STE-VÍ has carved out a distinct space within the city’s underground through a disciplined, vinyl-led approach to techno. His selections span the spectrum of the genre, moving from deep, hypnotic layers to driving, emotive peaks and rhythmic grooves, all anchored by a room-led approach. By prioritizing timing and flow, he allows the specific energy of the night to dictate the trajectory of the set. Committed to vinyl culture, his selections prioritize modern pressings while drawing from earlier records for both inspiration and functionality. This approach allows different eras of techno to sit naturally within a forward-looking sound, a perspective recently highlighted by his Berlin debut at Renate for the QS1 showcase in March 2026. Active within New York’s underground circuit since his debut at Basement NY in 2025, he continues to build momentum through consistent appearances at the city's most respected booths. As the founder of Solace NY, he further champions this vinyl-first ethos by curating a platform for emerging talent from the US and Europe. The event series fosters a deliberate exchange between the two landscapes, emphasizing thoughtful programming and a commitment to the fundamental craft of the selector. Whether navigating major club systems or steering an intimate floor, STE-VÍ remains focused on the enduring culture of the wax-only booth.

“Bio Few DJs could adequately represent the last three decades of New York nightclub history - no less do so with such iconic credentials as Justin Strauss.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Bio Few DJs could adequately represent the last three decades of New York nightclub history - no less do so with such iconic credentials as Justin Strauss. Since he was 17, when his first band was signed to Island Records, Justin has had a career that reads like a Who’s-Who of the music scene, spinning at nearly every dance club that you’d ever want to go to. Starting as DJ at New York’s legendary Mudd Club, he spun his way through The Ritz, Limelight, Area, Tunnel, M.K., Life, Centro Fly and more, pioneering his own distinctive sound, and becoming one of the most sought-after remixers and producers not just in New York, but in the world. He has worked with the gamut of artists - Depeche Mode, Sergio Mendez, Tina Turner, Jimmy Cliff, B-52s, Luther Vandross, Malcolm McClaren, Skinny Puppy, Goldfrapp, to name a few (see full list) – and on over 200 records! Much of the new dance crowd that goes to hear Justin DJ today, whether at subMercer, The Standard, Highbar, Soho House, or Love, doesn’t necessarily know his history; they simply love his spinning because he always keeps them dancing and surprised, seamlessly mixing between choice classics, delectable rarities and innovative beats. For Justin, no genre or style is off-limits – he can and will mix anything, so long as he can keep the crowd enthralled. His self-proclaimed mission is “connecting the dots” between what might otherwise seem disparate musical periods and styles, while introducing exciting new sounds. He does so with infectious passion, subverting preconceptions about what’s old and new, and inspiring young DJs with his masterful skill and ever-youthful spirit. But Justin Strauss doesn’t stop there. As half of the production duo, Whatever/Whatever, he continues to produce and mix records, working on remixes for the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Beyonce, La Roux and more. In fact, he doesn’t stop at all. Like the amazing city he’s dedicatedly kept dancing since 1980, Justin just keeps going. Coming Soon. a/jus/ted . New project with Eddie Mars. 2013
