This special edition of Rumba brings an all-Venezuelan lineup for one cause: DJs INVT, Manu Miran, MPeach, Naim Zazour, and Choque will be spinning all night to raise funds for those affected by the recent earthquake back home.

Miami-bred duo INVT are known for their sound system-focused music, blending club genres with dub influences, swung rhythms, and Latin-rooted percussion. Their catalog spans over 200 tracks, alongside live hardware performances and DJ sets at institutions including DC-10 (Circoloco), Fabric, Panorama Bar, Blitz, Club Space, Nowadays and Draaimolen, with notable b2bs with acts like Skream, Skee Mask, Sammy Virji, Bradley Zero and DJ Python. Emerging independently during the pandemic, INVT built momentum through a prolific run of self-released music on Bandcamp, quickly earning support from some of the most influential DJs in the world. Sustaining that momentum through consistent releases, the duo became recognized for a high-volume yet high-quality output. All aspects of the project are developed in house by the pair. They write, produce, mix, and master their own music, while also designing the visual side of the project themselves through clothing collections, art exhibits, videos, and album artwork. MPeach, aka Mariana Martín Capriles, is a Venezuelan multidisciplinary artist living in Brooklyn, NY. As a vocalist, producer, DJ, and audiovisual artist, she intertwines bass-heavy electronic sounds with rhythms rooted in traditional music. Having built a body of work that explores sounds of Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa, as well as the possibilities of these sounds in new electronic territories, MPeach lives in the liminal borderlands between honoring folk sounds rooted in rich cultural histories and envisioning the future of Latin American sound. By engaging Venezuelan folkloric music as a tradition that remains alive and evolving, she challenges stagnant notions of authenticity by creating work that is responsive to the forces that shape its creators, listeners, and dancers, using electronic music as a vehicle for preserving tradition in the collective memory. She has toured across the United States, Latin America, and Europe. MPeach has released music with Dutty Artz, Abstractor, Nacional Records, Interscope, Majia, On the Corner, and her own imprint, Peachtwon. Her music appears in several official motion picture soundtracks, including films such as Piedra, Papel o Tijera and Skate Kitchen, as well as television series like HBO’s Betty. Venezuelan-born, Brooklyn-based curator, advocate and DJ and Producer. Founder of Visceral, a Cambridge (MA) based interdisciplinary platform that hosts forward-thinking talent and promotes radical inclusivity of POC/LGBTQ+ and safer spaces for people with disabilities. A NYC resident since 2021, Manu has been actively in rotation at staple clubs and parties in the US - becoming a regular, key presence at Basement, Por Detroit, Battle Hymn, The Spectrum, Bossa Nova Civic Club; headlining major queer techno festivals (Honcho Campout, Somos, Ladyland), and abroad touring in Europe, Asia and South America.
