Gray Area heads beneath the K Bridge on Sunday, October 11, for an intimate open air showcase led by HI-LO, the techno alias of Dutch producer Oliver Heldens, performing an extended set alongside Irish producer Rebūke. Local talent Ksenyeah will go b2b with Manguito, while longtime Gray Area local Medina also joins the lineup. Set along the Brooklyn waterfront, the gathering feels like an unofficial final open air dance of the summer before the season comes to a close.
Over the past decade, HI-LO has become one of the defining names in modern techno, pairing Heldens’ studio precision with a heavier club focused sound. His releases have become staples on labels including Drumcode, Filth on Acid, and HILOMATIK, while collaborations with Green Velvet, Armin van Buuren, Eli Brown, Maddix, ZHU, and Kasablanca have expanded the project’s reach across the genre. From Ultra RESISTANCE and CRSSD to Factory 93 and The Warehouse Project, HI-LO has built a reputation for driving sets that balance peak time energy with carefully constructed progression.
Joining him is Rebūke, whose rise from Ireland’s underground circuit has been fueled by records including “Along Came Polly” and the Anyma collaboration “Syren.” With releases spanning Drumcode, Dirtybird, Ministry of Sound, and Afterlife, plus appearances at Sphere Las Vegas, Coachella, Afterlife Barcelona, Zamna Brazil, and Drumsheds, Rebūke has become one of the scene’s most in demand artists.
Running from 2 PM to 9 PM, the extended format gives HI-LO room to explore the full range of the project in one of Brooklyn’s most striking outdoor settings. Set beneath the industrial steel of the K Bridge and along the waterfront, Creekside provides the backdrop for an afternoon built around deep grooves, powerful rhythms, and long form storytelling on the dance floor. More artists will be announced soon.

their own biography
the whole biography
Rebūke is an artist constantly searching for something new and exciting who’s captured that elusive thing – a sound and a style... all his own. ERA is Rebūke’s brand new world. A place for people to lose themselves in a realm of sound and vision. The first release, the double header "Glow / Void" – is an introduction to ERA's universe, where Rebūke has created a captivating sense of futurism. Carefully crafted pieces of music accompanied by a visual narrative, allowing people to experience Rebūke’s ERA vision and storytelling in full and create something truly remarkable across music releases, live shows, and a thriving online community. All of this has been built on a rock-solid discography on some of the most sought-after labels of the last decade. His Afterlife collaboration with Anyma ‘Syren’ is a magnificent piece of forward- thinking melodic techno and has already become one of the most requested tracks of 2023. ‘Along Came Polly’ was a game changing track that sounded like nothing else at the time. It rocketed to the top of the Beatport charts, staying there for two months. It was Essential New Tune for Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1 and established instantly Rebuke’s reputation for creative sound design. On the remix front his magic touch has been applied to a who’s who of underground music including Tiga and Kölsch, Xpansions, Fatboy Slim and Eats Everything, Chris Lake, Kevin Saunderson, Patrick Topping, Green Velvet, Max Cooper among others. He continues to sell out venues across the globe and expand his fanbase with a series of carefully curated ERA live shows in Barcelona, New York, Los Angeles and beyond.Their RA profile lists Dirtybird, Drumcode and Afterlife.Recently at 99 Scott Ave, Superior Ingredients, Kings Hall - Avant Gardner · often with EVE, KIERAN SAN JOSE, Ugo Banchi, none of them here that night
