The Story So Far... Behind the alias, "Angel", is the Dj/Producer,Vangelis Sygouris. He has been spinning since he was 12. His first club appearance was in Thessaloniki at the club "Spacemobile" during the summers of 1994 and 1995. From that time on, he performed a number of sets in various clubs all over Greece as well as in London (while studying music technology) at the legendary club, Home, owned by Paul Oakenfold, and at Velvet Room. His first residency came along in summer 2001, when he joined the ranks of resident DJ's at the legendary club PLUS SODA in Paros Island - warming up for renowned artists such as Nick Warren, Alex Neri, Greece's own, Christo Z, G-Pal and many more. Winter (2001-2002) found Angel being the official resident DJ of Plus Soda Athens, performing sets alongside Sasha, John Digweed, Nick Warren, Dave Seaman (back to back set), Sander Kleinenberg, Deep Dish, Steve Lawler, John Creamer and Anthony Pappa, Carl Cox, Slacker, just to name a few. Following this very successful season many more came along for Angel, continuing his residency at Plus Soda (until the closing of the club in 2006), as well as touring in the rest of Greece, sharing his heavenly sounds with his funs around the nation. From then on, Angel has been performing as a guest dj in clubs around Hellas such us Danza, Bossa Nostra, Dragoste, Luv, Plusmatic, Decadence, but also around the glob,e in addition he is doing his own nights in smaller bars and venues... Angel's musical style varies and combines tunes from Tech House to Progressive beats with driving basslines and atmosperic sounds as a trademark. As well as being a DJ with the ability to excite every crowd with his three decks mixing skill while using samples and accapellas during his sets, he is also a producer with one of his tracks named "Protest" being featured in the compilation "Progressive, Visions of Sound" by Planetworks along side artists such as Sasha, James Holden, Echomen and many more... While working on remixing artists such as Christian Cambas, Wooden Swords, Phat Jack and others his second release on PW came along named “Raindrops” featured on the compilation “Local Underground.” What more to say.... A very promising future is up ahead....Recently at SILO, Jupiter Disco, The House · often with Dren, Eyes of Ruby, Xana 101, none of them here that night

Born and raised in Queens, a city dweller and a club kid, Kilopatrah has an innate and superlative gift for transferring energy from the booth to the dance floor—through exciting house, techno, and jungle, and moments that both harken to Sound Factory–era glory days and bring you to sweaty BPMs of the future. Their sets are palpably personal: The dance floor has always been a powerful platform for expression for Kilo, once as a freeing and connecting space for a quiet house dancer and now as one for moving others like them. When Kilo gets going, you’ll lose sense of the kick drum versus the beat of your own body against the floor. That’s a gift from them to you, and your percussion is a gift back to them. Kilo brings their energetic sass to a monthly Lot Radio residency and to parties with impressive lineups, playing alongside Todd Terry home in New York, at the legendary Movement weekend Club Toilet in Detroit, and for Boiler Room. Their mixes, for series such as Coloring Lessons, Honcho, and Juanita’s, and for spots on Rinse and Refuge, also capture the club at its most euphoric. You’ll step a little harder with Kilopatrah Jones. His eclectic and versatile knowledge of club music and reputation of blending House, Techno, Jersey, Baltimore Club, UK Funky, Footwork, Amapiano, and Jungle/Drum & Bass in the same set have led to performances at Nowadays and Dweller Fest while collaborating with a buffet of musicians including Kelela, DJ Lag, Ari Lennox and more. In 2021, Nativesun launched the Black Rave Culture project with fellow D.C. friends Amal and James Bangura, which led to two critically-acclaimed album releases and appearances at Sustain Release, Slingshot Festival North Carolina and Boiler Room D.C. all in the same year. As a DJ known to be in multiple places at once, Nativesun remains on a mission to bring communities together, move bodies and redefine club music wherever he is. "If there’s a reason you can hear how fluidly one of DMV’s favorite native sons, [Nativesun], moves from style to style on the mixer and the beats, it’s because he long ago internalized the diversity of local D.C. music culture." - Afropunk "Call it an edit, a remix, a refix, whatever fits: When a DJ chops a song into bits just to reassemble it, you’re being offered a window into how this person hears the world, or maybe even a glimpse of their consciousness. In [Nativesun]’s busy head space, things feel vast, intimate, metaphysical and multidirectional. Machine rhythms crumple like gum wrappers and sheets of corrugated steel. Human voices blare like angel choirs and car alarms. The beats tend to punch, the melodies tend to tickle, but everything keeps changing position, including your body parts, and that’s called dancing." - The Washington Post "Nativesun is one-third of Black Rave Culture, who put out a varied, excellent full-length on HAUS of ALTR earlier this year." - Resident AdvisorTheir RA profile lists Big Dada and HAUS of ALTR.Recently at Friends & Lovers, SILO, Bossa Nova Civic Club · often with Run P., none of them here that night
