Watching DJ BORING in action is the antithesis of his mundane pseudonym; vibrant, energising, fun and full of passion, Tristan Hallis puts his all into every set. Over the last few years he has ascended rapidly thanks to his dazzling displays, impeccable selection and high quality productions. The Australian selector takes great pride in his digging capabilities, constantly searching for lesser-known gems from years gone by, and pairing them up with more recent cuts that are equally exceptional. Since he arrived with ‘Winona’ in 2016, DJ BORING has continued to push forward and demonstrate his abilities on stage, in the clubs, at festivals and behind-the-scenes in the studio. He has an innate ability to blend seemingly disparate styles. His debut on BBC Radio 1’s legendary Essential Mix and an amazing Boiler Room appearance at Lost Sundays exemplify this DJ style, but tune in to any of his streams, recorded sets or, better still, see him in person and you’re bound to be left buzzing by his sheer dynamism. In the studio, the producer has honed in on a contemporary sound that pays homage to the roots of dance music. His productions are birthed in hardware and imbued with Hallis' energetic personality - a human touch which can often be lacking in many productions today. This trait shines through in his new live show where hardware and controllers become a natural extension of his creative self, a conduit through which he presents a fresh take on his music. DJ BORING epitomises the dance floor roots of club culture; positive energy, liberating and unifying selections and unbridled fun and self-expression, combined with respect for the music and a genuine desire to share his unwavering passion. Despite his impressive list of achievements it’s clear BORING is only just getting started, with his first live show finalised alongside plans for an album project in the not-too-distant future, the stage is set for the next phase of this soaring artist’s remarkable career.Their RA profile lists Ninja Tune, Let's Play House, Heist Recordings, Bobby Donny and 4 more.Recently at SILO, Good Room, Brooklyn Army Terminal · often with Jubilee, Rose Kourts, Rimarkable, none of them here that night
“James Juke came to house music far from home.”
their own biography
the whole biography
James Juke came to house music far from home. A year abroad in Buenos Aires at 19 introduced him to clubs for the first time, and in the span of a month, sets from Folamour, Honey Dijon, and Dusky made him understand that this music had infinite flavors and forms, and that understanding them was going to take time. Now based in Brooklyn, Juke has been shaped by the legacy of The Loft, deep house purists and the underground techno scene, all of it filtering into a singular sound. Rooted in disco, soul, and the sampling lineage that connects early house to hip-hop, his sets move through jackin', vocal-driven house and raw, hypnotic tech house. Drawn to DJs like Eris Drew, Octa Octa, and Cinthie as much as the classic house canon, Juke thinks as much like a curator as a DJ. Whether digging for sets or samples, his growing collection of music leans towards tracks you can't easily find on streaming platforms and records that haven't been digitized. Production came later, and in the least glamorous way possible. During the pandemic, Juke downloaded Logic and spent a year teaching himself entirely by ear. No tutorials, no guidance, just samples. Eventually that work found its way to Demuir, who gave him monthly feedback sessions that sharpened what he was building. Releases followed on Nervous, Robsoul, and Rek'd, alongside more experimental work, including A Little Lost, a collab-driven EP that deliberately stepped outside the club context to explore what the music could be. His sets carry the same curiosity. Whether playing a 150-cap room or a main stage, Juke's approach is shaped by a genuine respect for the history he's drawing from: Paradise Garage, Music Box, and The Sound Factory. He's shared lineups with Mike Dunn, Harry Romero, Inland Knights, and Dam Swindle; his music has earned the attention of Disclosure, who have supported his development and given direct feedback on his work. A-Trak released his music and has been a collaborator and subject of his long-running interview podcast, The Juiceboxx. And for his party, The Jukeboxx, he’s hosted NY’s best: Dee Diggs, Kim Anh, Devoye, Cosmo, Lovie, and MomaReady. None of it was planned. It still isn't. And that's the point.House on 20, Nu-Disco on 4, Disco on 2 and Contemporary R&B on 1. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on Madame Gold (2), The Disco Express (1) and snackwax (1); their RA profile also lists Nervous Records, Rek'd, 17 Steps and Toucan Sounds. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Jupiter Disco, Dead Letter No. 9, Elsewhere · often with gabby cocco, Bakke, Very J, none of them here that night
“Bea Trinidad is a New York City–born and based Filipina DJ, vinyl selector, and producer whose sound is a vibrant map of her global travels and multicultural roots.”

the whole biography
Bea Trinidad is a New York City–born and based Filipina DJ, vinyl selector, and producer whose sound is a vibrant map of her global travels and multicultural roots. Her sets are heavily based on New York City’s musical identity, anchored in the warmth of soulful and deep house, with influences of hip-hop and r&b, jazz, soul, peak-time euphoria of ’90s anthems, and a wide-reaching palette of global club rhythms - the very sounds that defined the city’s legendary dance floors. A technical powerhouse behind the decks, Bea is known for her multi-deck mixing and hybrid digital-vinyl sets. By bridging the gap between these classic NYC sensibilities and modern dance floor rhythms, she creates a sound that is both locally rooted and internationally minded. A classically trained pianist and dancer of over 20 years, Bea’s relationship with music is inherently physical. Her perspective has been sharpened by a decade-long immersion in rave culture, giving her an innate understanding of the dance floor’s energy and the "why" behind the groove. While living in Europe for three years, Bea’s background as a promoter for the Paris-based collective Possession offered a firsthand look at the logistics and raw energy required to build a movement from the underground up. This experience, combined with her ability to speak several languages, allows her to navigate the industry as a true sonic citizen. Bea is celebrated for her versatility. Much like her work as a cultural commentator, her sets explore the globalization of sound, proving that a fusion of cultures can create a universal language on the floor. Bea has brought her sound to some of New York City’s favorite spaces, including Public Records, Elsewhere, and House of Yes. Her international reach extends to Asia and Europe, while her versatility has led to partnerships with global brands like Adidas, Free People, the US Open, and Dazed Magazine. Beyond the booth, she remains a dedicated advocate for her community, consistently lending her abilities to fundraisers, POC-led organizations, and initiatives championing women in music. Ultimately, her mission is to ensure the dance floor remains an accessible site for connection, advocacy, and joy.Recently at Elsewhere, Pier 78 at Hudson River Park, McCarren Park · often with Roland & Brother Rich, Bustin' Loose, SMURFOUDIRTY, none of them here that night
