“Electric is the only way to describe Andi’s sets.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Electric is the only way to describe Andi’s sets. The NYC-based DJ, producer, and SYNTHICIDE label/party boss constructs a dynamic and intoxicating flow that’s always palpable between the walls of the foggy, neon-lit dancefloor. Parts sleaze and sultry, Andi’s aesthetic is body music based, thriving on the delivery of the groove and the bombastic highs of a track’s apex. As a devotee of distinct sounds such as EBM, new beat, Italo, freestyle and housey 90s elements, her sets reflect her deep vinyl collection: diverse, yet focused, and completely one-of-a-kind. Her own productions aim to challenge the expectations within the confines of traditionally masculine dance genres. With bassline-heavy grooves and a conceptual emphasis on storytelling with samples taken from long-forgotten erotic thrillers and seedy sci-fi films, Andi adds a wry yet delicate touch to machine music. As the boss of SYNTHICIDE—the internationally known party, label and event series—Andi has cultivated the dark underground scene for over a decade in Brooklyn. SYNTHICIDE started at the notorious club in Bushwick, Bossa Nova Civic Club, where the party still holds a monthly residency. Additionally, Andi is a resident at The Lot Radio and NYC’s Gabriela.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Watching DJ BORING in action is the antithesis of his mundane pseudonym; vibrant, energising, fun and full of passion, Tristan Hallis puts his all into every set. Over the last few years he has ascended rapidly thanks to his dazzling displays, impeccable selection and high quality productions. The Australian selector takes great pride in his digging capabilities, constantly searching for lesser-known gems from years gone by, and pairing them up with more recent cuts that are equally exceptional. Since he arrived with ‘Winona’ in 2016, DJ BORING has continued to push forward and demonstrate his abilities on stage, in the clubs, at festivals and behind-the-scenes in the studio. He has an innate ability to blend seemingly disparate styles. His debut on BBC Radio 1’s legendary Essential Mix and an amazing Boiler Room appearance at Lost Sundays exemplify this DJ style, but tune in to any of his streams, recorded sets or, better still, see him in person and you’re bound to be left buzzing by his sheer dynamism. In the studio, the producer has honed in on a contemporary sound that pays homage to the roots of dance music. His productions are birthed in hardware and imbued with Hallis' energetic personality - a human touch which can often be lacking in many productions today. This trait shines through in his new live show where hardware and controllers become a natural extension of his creative self, a conduit through which he presents a fresh take on his music. DJ BORING epitomises the dance floor roots of club culture; positive energy, liberating and unifying selections and unbridled fun and self-expression, combined with respect for the music and a genuine desire to share his unwavering passion. Despite his impressive list of achievements it’s clear BORING is only just getting started, with his first live show finalised alongside plans for an album project in the not-too-distant future, the stage is set for the next phase of this soaring artist’s remarkable career.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
From a cacophony of grimy acid to severe electro and voracious EBM, Gina’s DJ style is a daring amalgamation of strict beats and slick sensibilities. Her spectrum of music knowledge—including italo rarities, rave classics and goth anthems—foster a forward-thinking palette of mechanized sound that’s never confined to any singular genre. Even though her sets pulse with brash attitude, there’s an innate delicacy in her pacing that creates passionate, spellbinding moments in the thralls of each set. Unsurprisingly so, Gina has formed her own community as the booker at Philly’s dance institutions The Dolphin and formerly The Barbary. It’s here, in the tempestuous, dark enclaves of these clubs, that she’s fostered a thirst for an energy that’s both debaucherous and electrifying. Her commitment in this pursuit has led G I N A to expand to a residency at Brooklyn’s new hot spot, Gabriela, as well as the parties Rhythm Of The Night, Shadowplay, Darker Disco, Fvtvre Favorite and DJ sets on The Lot Radio, Boiler Room & Rinse FM, where her debut was chosen as Resident Advisor's Mix of the Day. Additionally, she’s released her own dynamic tracks on Magic City, Synthicide & Bound NYC

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Influenced by sweat-dripping festival dance tents and iconic compilation CDs from the likes of Ministry of Sound and Hedkandi, IN PARALLEL is the result of two bubbling producers coming together to produce a new era of nostalgia-tinged club music. George has been making noise in the dance music scene for the last 4 years, after finding a love for drum and bass at his first festival aged 14. Initially influenced by artists such as Sigma and Kanine, it was only after discovering artists such as Sammy Virji, Oppidan and MPH that George was swept up by the new UK garage revolution. Harrison was brought up on all different genres of music, playing guitar, piano, and violin, but nothing satisfied him as much as digging into his parents’ collection of classic dance vinyl. Going to university in Manchester fuelled him to take production and DJing seriously, setting up his own record label Pure Filth, and releasing music under the name Baika. Together, IN PARALLEL have combined their passions to break new ground as a duo, their signature sound taking over first the internet, then dancefloors the world over.

  • Katie Rex

New York City · 47 bookings since Sep 2023

“Katie Rex is one of NY’s most essential and impactful DJs.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Katie Rex is one of NY’s most essential and impactful DJs. The Bound founder and Basement resident has spent the last decade and changed pushing a singular vision of wild, uncompromising rave power. Fusing throbbing techno, ripping hardgroove, key selections from NY’s vibrant underground and nods to her foundational loves - goth & industrial - Rex has developed a well-earned reputation for turning the dancefloor on its head. Her sets move with the perfect balance of precision and controlled chaos, transmuting a gleefully grungy menace into liberatory catharsis. Rex’s career began in Philadelphia where, in true DIY spirit, she began organizing parties around a key, glaring gap. Factory Girls was Rex’s first party series, an all-femme party that highlighted some of the 2010’s most vital new artists and helped point the way forward out of an oppressively male-focused monoculture. Word spread quickly, and early alliances with NY’s Discwoman drew Rex up to NY more and more. A few short years later she found herself at the center of a cultural renaissance. Regular sets at the revered, secretive Unter party, close ties with Bossa Nova Civic Club, and in 2016, the first edition of Bound all came quickly, and Rex’s position in the culture was soon indisputable. Bound has become Rex’s calling card: a NY-based, nationally produced kink party that seeks to redefine the form. Landing at the revered institution Basement, as one of the inaugural residencies at the club in 2019. As with Factory Girls, Bound pushes back against the ensconced patriarchal power dynamics that have made many femme and queer people feel unwelcome. It instead creates a space that is directly, unapologetically for those groups, with outstanding artists to boot. Rex’s DJing at these parties inevitably sets the standard; her capacity to both wield music of brutal power and craft an immersive, captivating, even joyful journey embodies the entire ethos of the night. Through this passion for amplifying artists, Rex created a boutique label featuring releases from Dax J, Silent Servant, Terence Fixmer, Bored Lord, Kilbourne, Ireen Amnes, Kontravoid, and more. After a 6 year Lot Radio residency, featuring a host of guests including VTSS, Rebekah, Sedef Adasï, Akua, Silent Servant, and Hyperaktivist, Bound release a new mix series In 2025. Rex has become an international presence, with regular gigs across the States and overseas. Her sets have been sought after beyond the club by Boiler Room and luxury houses Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Burberry, and Parfums de Marley. Press features in Vogue, The Face, Paper Magazine, Document Journal, Vice, The New Yorker, and Nylon Magazine have lauded her as the face of a new wave in nightlife culture. As her vision has come to shape US nightlife, the power of her music has only become more honed and riveting. What’s come before is only the beginning.

DC-based DJ Ramblur has one goal: to make people dance. Ramblur has ignited dancefloors all over the DMV, from Flash and Grafitti Warehouse to festivals such as Elements and Yonderville. Born in Miami and raised on the Grateful Dead, his stage name, Ramblur, is an homage to the Grateful Dead's "Ramble on Rose" and perfectly encapsulates his style of DJing: "when I DJ, I feel like I'm emulating the ethos of jam, trying to fill my sets with intricate and long form blends, bringing my unique style to familiar tracks." It's those twists, blends and bootlegs in Ramblur's mixes that set him apart.Music has always been a guiding force of Ramblur's life, and this project is about bringing sound to the people, by the people.

“Maria “Ri Ri” Garcia, known worldwide as Rimarkable, is not just a DJ, producer, and vocalist.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Maria “Ri Ri” Garcia, known worldwide as Rimarkable, is not just a DJ, producer, and vocalist. She is a cultural architect, an Afro-Puerto Rican powerhouse who has been shaping the sound and spirit of dance music for more than two decades. Brought up in Detroit, sharpened during childhood summers in Chicago, and thriving in New York City, Rimarkable embodies the full spectrum of the Black diasporic tradition—gospel, funk, soul, jazz, house, and techno, all transformed into electrifying soundscapes that ignite dance floors across the globe. Her story begins in the sanctified heat of a Pentecostal church, where her mother, a classically trained pianist and music minister, saturated her childhood with gospel harmonies and discipline. Summers in Chicago exposed her to the earliest pulse of house music, embedding in her DNA a rhythm that would later define her life. By 1997 she was on the decks, and by 2006, frustrated with the industry’s barriers and biases, she became her own producer, turning resistance into innovation and claiming complete autonomy over her craft. Since then, Rimarkable has built a singular career that bridges worlds. She has shared stages with legends including George Clinton, Madonna, Erykah Badu, Louie Vega, Honey Dijon, Roger Sanchez, Pete Tong, and Francois K, while simultaneously cultivating underground spaces that honor community, authenticity, and radical joy. Her long-running events in Detroit, New York, and San Francisco have become touchstones for dancers and DJs alike, curating nights that are as spiritual as they are explosive. In 2021 she joined the storied Defected Records family, cementing her place among global house music royalty. As a host of the weekly Defected Radio Show, she now reaches millions of listeners across more than 170 FM stations worldwide, bringing her distinctive voice and impeccable taste to an international audience. Beyond the booth, Rimarkable is a celebrated educator and thought leader. She serves as an Adjunct Professor at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute, and instructor at Waajeed’s Underground Music Academy, where she teaches her groundbreaking course series, “The Alchemy of DJing.” This work frames DJing as both art and ritual, blending technique, history, spirituality, and cultural analysis into a visionary curriculum, with raw truth and resources for navigating the scene as a business. She has presented versions of this lecture and workshop in Nairobi, Berlin, Yale, and the Queens Museum, underscoring her mission to expand dance music’s role as a vehicle for healing, liberation, and collective power. Rimarkable’s artistry is rooted in more than beats. It is about presence, justice, and transformation. Whether unleashing a thunderous techno set, layering vocals over soulful house grooves, or leading students through the metaphysics of rhythm, she approaches every arena with the same intent: to elevate. To remind us that music is ceremony. To preserve the roots of dance music while pushing it fearlessly forward. With releases on labels including Classic Music Company, Big Love, Club Bad, and her forthcoming imprint Betty Jean’s Dream, Rimarkable continues to expand her sonic universe. Each project is a testament to her philosophy that excellence, dignity, and artistry are not optional but essential. Detroit is her foundation, New York is her canvas, and the world is her stage. To experience Rimarkable is to step into a revolution of rhythm, where every beat is an invitation, every set is a sermon, and every dance floor becomes a sanctuary. This is more than music. This is Rimarkable.

House legend, Daft Punk collaborator, and Grammy winner Todd Edwards is known for his hypnotic collage of cut-up samples over swung beats and lively disco-flavored baselines. Credited as one of the godfathers of UK garage, his four-to-the-floor beats have earned him a passionate following. In addition to his own legendary productions, Edwards has remixed Daft Punk, Phoenix, Justice, Matthew Dear, Hot Chip, Spank Rock, Boris, Appaloosa, Klaxons, Surkin, Robin S, Zoot Woman, St. Germain, and Dimitri From Paris. Edwards is the only artist Daft Punk has collaborated with twice: he sang, co-wrote, and co-produced "Face to Face" from Daft's 2001 album 'Discovery' and "Fragments of Time" from Daft's 2013 album 'Random Access Memories,' for which he received a Grammy.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Volvox is a global leader in the movement for representation of female, queer, trans and nonbinary identities in the techno industry. A dominant figure of New York’s techno renaissance, across the globe the name DJ Volvox has become synonymous with surgical mixing technique and a certain square-shooting, take-no-prisoner approach towards dance floor business. Her parties are the stuff of legend, and her authenticity as a global cultural figure is undeniable. As a member of Discwoman, the all-female DJ crew that transformed electronic music culture over the last decade, she broke ground for more women to rise in the global DJ ranks and inspired countless more to begin in the craft. Having circled the globe more times than she can count, Volvox has turned her sights back on nurturing electronic music culture in her home, the United States. Ariana is now spearheading the construction of a space of inclusivity under the umbrella of a FLINTA-driven event series, simply named FLINTA NYC. Her music-driven program seeks to reinvigorate the techno scene by reviving context and nuance and blending scenes to push Brooklyn nightlife into the next chapter. Ariana is known for tough, stripped-back techno and groovy hypnotic sets that seduce the listener into a maelstrom of emotion. She has been a busy DJ and event producer since 2006 and in that time has shared the decks with many international stars including DVS1, Marcel Dettmann, Ellen Allien, The Hacker, Legowelt and Mike Servito. Raised in Buffalo, New York, her early experiences in the industrial and rave scenes of rust-belt America shaped her outlook on dance culture. An ardent supporter of the underground, she was a key figure in developing the electronic music scene in Boston, Massachusetts from 2007-2010. Breaking out internationally in 2015 she has enjoyed a busy tour schedule including noted appearances at Dekmantel and the ascendant Sustain-Release festival in upstate New York. Since then she tours extensively across Europe and makes regular appearances at Berghain/Panorama Bar in Berlin. She also tours South America and Asia yearly. Ariana is a unique character on the US scene guaranteed to bring a high energy show that lights up dance floors with an undeniable spirit.
